| As a major strategy for the country to win the battle against poverty,targeted poverty alleviation has received widespread attention and strong support from the whole society.Listed companies are the main participants of the socialist market economy,actively solve the problems of agriculture,rural areas and farmers in the process of poverty alleviation,and play an important role in the national poverty alleviation work.At present,the research on targeted poverty alleviation mainly focuses on the ideological connotation and policy effect of targeted poverty alleviation,while there are few studies on the targeted poverty alleviation of enterprises,and the research is mainly carried out from the aspects of internal operation and external environment of enterprises.Although my country has built a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way,the achievements of poverty alleviation still need to be consolidated.How can we gather more forces to participate in agriculture-related activities such as "preventing the return of poverty and consolidating achievements" and rural revitalization? It is an issue that we need to continue to pay attention to and consider.To this end,it is necessary to summarize the valuable experience of enterprises participating in targeted poverty alleviation,and to better stimulate the subjective initiative of enterprises,so that they can continue to invest in the great process of rural revitalization and common prosperity in China.Taking executive reputation as a starting point,using data collected by hand,this paper systematically studies the impact of executive reputation on enterprises’ participation in targeted poverty alleviation by empirical analysis.it also provides suggestions on how to encourage enterprises to participate in the implementation of policies such as the consolidation of poverty alleviation achievements and rural revitalization.This paper takes the listed companies of Shanghai and Shenzhen A shares in China from 2016 to 2020 as the research object,based on reputation theory,senior echelon theory and psychoanalysis theory.this paper combs and analyzes the literature at home and abroad on corporate targeted poverty alleviation and executive reputation,and systematically studies the impact of executive reputation on corporate participation in targeted poverty alleviation and the moderating effect of corporate risk and executive poverty experience on the relationship between them.The robustness test was carried out by means of instrumental variable method and variable replacement method.The results show that: first,executive reputation can improve the targeted poverty alleviation investment of enterprises.Second,the lower the enterprise risk,the more obvious the positive effect of executive reputation on targeted poverty alleviation.Third,when senior executives have early experience of poverty,the positive effect of executive reputation on targeted poverty alleviation is more obvious.Based on the above research conclusions,this paper puts forward the following suggestions: First,in the implementation process of the next stage of rural revitalization policy in my country,the reputation of executives can be used to guide enterprises to participate more in rural revitalization activities and help the smooth progress of rural revitalization.Second,enterprises should pay attention to the importance of the reputation of executives in internal decision-making and enterprise development,and vigorously develop industrial assistance forms on the road to common prosperity in the future,so as to achieve a win-win situation of fulfilling social responsibilities and promoting sustainable development of enterprises.Third,the government can give certain political resources to enterprises that carry out targeted poverty alleviation by building an open,transparent and efficient competition mechanism.Fourth,media publicity and other methods can be used to publicize poverty alleviation enterprises or poverty alleviation figures that have performed well in the process of poverty alleviation,which can not only increase the popularity of the enterprise,but also establish a role model to attract more enterprises and individuals to invest in the socialist cause. |
