Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Poverty Alleviation Within The Framework Of Targeted Poverty Alleviation In China

Poverty is a common challenge facing the whole world.The eradication of poverty is strategically important for the peace,stability and development of any country or region.Eliminating poverty and gradually realizing common prosperity are the inherent requirements of Chinese socialism,as well as the important mission of CCP.Since President Xi put forward targeted poverty alleviation in year 2013,China has made great achievements according to the poverty alleviation strategy of precise identification,precise help and precise management.However,there are still many problems during the process of targeted poverty alleviation.Thus,how to resolve the problems preferably will play a profoundly realistic significance for the realization of overall well-off society.This paper makes an introduction on Chinese targeted poverty alleviation strategy from the aspects of background,concept,content and approaches including administrative poverty alleviation,financial poverty alleviation and public poverty alleviation.Through the sample survey on the situation of targeted poverty alleviation conducted at one poor village of Gansu province,it summarizes the current situation of local poverty alleviation and then introduces the national overall condition of targeted poverty alleviation as well as that of the overseas.Moreover,it presents some problems of targeted poverty alleviation,such as the difficulty in identifying the poor,the corruption in the use of poverty alleviation funds,the confliction between the commercial interests and the financial poverty alleviation facing the financial institutions,and the public issues resulted from the formalism in the implementation of poverty alleviation.Finally,it puts forward related suggestions to improve targeted poverty alleviation,that is,improving the means and methods for poverty identification to ensure the precise identification,strengthening the supervision of the poverty alleviation funds to make it more effective,reinforcing the construction of the poverty alleviation work's systematization to build the long-term mechanism,and making the balance between the commercial interests and financial poverty alleviation for the financial institutions.
