Research On The Differences And Factors Of Urban And Rural Integrated Development In Hunan Province

With the initial implementation of China’s rural revitalization strategy,urban integration has become the focus of the rural revitalization strategy.In the new stage of development,how to realize the integration of urban and rural areas is an urgent problem for China to face and solve.And this has also become the focus of the CPC Central Committee and people’s governments at all levels.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the integration of urban and rural areas.In the report to the 19 th CPC National Congress,it was clearly proposed to establish and improve the system for integrated urban and rural development,and introduce effective policies to ensure the smooth implementation of China’s rural revitalization strategy,and to promote integrated urban and rural development.As a major agricultural province in central China,Hunan has a profound traditional agricultural foundation and good geographical advantages.However,due to historical reasons,the urban-rural dual structure is obvious compared with other provinces,and the level of urban-rural integrated development in the province faces many challenges.In this context,how to accelerate the process of urban and rural integration in Hunan Province is an urgent problem to be solved.Using 14 cities and states in Hunan Province,this paper analyzes the spatial distribution characteristics and temporal differences of urban and rural integrated development level with Arcgis software and entropy method,discusses various factors affecting the level of urban and rural integrated development,and puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions.The following research results are obtained:First,on the whole,the gap between prefecture-level cities in Hunan Province is large and shows an increasing trend;However,the difference between urban and rural areas gradually shrinks over time.Second,from the perspective of spatial and temporal differences,this research focuses on the establishment of Hunan province urban-rural integrated development level evaluation index system around the overall requirements of the rural revitalization strategy.The results show that the overall level of urbanrural integration in the province is high,and the entropy method of the top three in Hunan province are Xiangxi 0.1589,Zhuzhou 0.1157,Chenzhou 0.1101.Hunan province is divided into three types of areas,respectively: low level,medium level,high level areas.From the perspective of space,Hunan province has a special geographical position,which is in the "first line,two belts and four cores" pattern nationwide,and is an important fulcrum of the rise strategy of central China.However,the level of urban-rural integrated development in western Hunan and southern Hunan is high,the level of urban-rural integrated development in northern Hunan is low,and the phenomenon of unbalanced distribution is prominent.From the perspective of time,the level of urban-rural integrated development in Hunan Province generally fluctuated from 2010 to 2019.Third,the conclusions of the development level of urban and rural integration in Hunan province has the following aspects: Hunan economic diversification and urban-rural integration;low urbanization quality and regional gap;unreasonable urban and rural industrial structure;based on the above analysis,increasing investment of rural public resources,develop effective market mechanism,strengthen urban and rural industry and coordinate urban and rural planning are proposed.
