With technological advancements,industrial automation has become an important support to promote China’s economic and social development.It not only helps to improve the production efficiency of enterprises,but also provides more flexible management methods for enterprises,thus providing a strong guarantee for the sustainable growth of enterprises.K Company is committed to providing solutions for safety and emergency control systems in the field of petrochemicals and a supplier of process industry control valves.It occupies an important position in the Chinese market.Its products include:industrial control systems,industrial control valves,DCS control systems,industrial software.K company is a industry leader in the field of industrial automation control.Under the background of Trade disputes between China and the United States,how to accurately choose the appropriate development strategy and strengthen the company’s core competitiveness is the main research purpose of this paper.Based on the theoretical research of overall strategy and competitive strategy,this paper uses PEST analysis method,Porter’s Five Forces Model,EFE,IFE and SWOT analysis to deeply explore the market situation of K company,and finally formulates four different strategies:development SO,struggling WO,confront ST,and conservative WT strategy.Then,the AHP analytic based on SWOT analysis is used for comprehensive evaluation,and the most favorable strategy for the development of K company is selected from the four strategies,and the overall strategy optimization path of K company is formulated.Then,combined with the market attractiveness and the strength of K company,the McKinsey model is used to analyze each business unit,and the competitive strategy optimization path suitable for the development of each business unit of K company is obtained.Finally,on the basis of determining the overall strategy and competitive strategy direction and measures,the layout is arranged from four aspects:enhancing and strengthening brand building,improving product technology competitiveness,optimizing customer service model,and strengthening investment and financing capabilities,which provides comprehensive guarantee for the implementation of K company’s development strategy.The practical significance of this paper is to analyze the internal and external environment of K company from the perspective of overall strategy and competitive strategy through literature research,investigation,qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis.Through effective optimization of corporate overall strategy and competitive strategy,it helps K company keep up with the market pulse,clarify development ideas,improve management level,enhance K company’s competitiveness in the industry,and help it gradually realize its corporate vision.
