The Research On CST Development Strategy In China

As the economic globalization and industrial technology is rapidly developing, people put forward higher demand on products' development and availability. The competition is becoming keen day by day. In order to satisfy the social need of growing product diversification, every walk of life have opened out the competition on the market of product customization as they increased the capability and quality of standard product. The situation is the same in the market of industrial automation. The Schneider Electric Group, as an expert of global energy management and one of the fortune 500 enterprises, has found a new and international business unit named CST company to satisfy the growing demand on customized product in the field of industrial automation. In 2007, the CST company came to China market which became more and more important. Facing the austere competition, the CST company has encountered a key problem, i.e. how to encircle the development direction and situation of our industrial automation industry and combine the company's current situation to work out a correct development strategy and bring into effect.This paper is taking the development of CST company in China as the research object, through the outer analysis on the macro development environment, industry competition situation and market demand situation facing by CST company and the inner analysis on the resource and capability of CST company, and the usage of strategy analysis tools, SWOT analysis strategy o'clock analysis and the BCG matrix analysis, etc., and the combination the strategy mission and the development goal of CST company, it makes the development strategy which fits the China market, and programs the implementation and assurance of development strategy.
