| Under public emergencies,corporate how to effectively prevent shocks,how recreate emergencies,and improve their emergency management capabilities have become a top priority and a continuous focus of attention from all walks of life.Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR)has become an important pointer for evaluating development potential and various capabilities in the new situation,which helps enterprises to gain competitive advantages in times of unexpected crises,and gain visual feedback and key resources,thus enabling sustainable regeneration when dealing with the risks of emergencies.Based on this,it is crucial to investigate the relationship between CSR and emergency re-engineering capabilities,considering the occurrence of public emergencies and the dynamically changing external environment,to effectively respond to emergencies,actively fulfill CSR and reasonably improve emergency management capabilities.This study aims to reveal the inner mechanism of the influence of CSR on emergency re-engineering capability,explore the effect and mechanism of the influence of CSR on emergency re-engineering capability,expand the research on the influence of CSR on emergency re-engineering capability,strengthen the construction of emergency management capability of enterprises,and accelerate the modernization of emergency management system and capability.At first,this paper combed the current status of research on CSR and emergency reengineering capacity of public emergencies at both domestic and international levels,clarified the gaps and lacunae in existing research,defined the core concepts and scope of this paper,elaborated the theoretical basis of CSR affecting emergency re-engineering capacity based on stakeholder theory,combined with legitimacy theory and resource dependency theory.Secondly,by summarizing the current situation of CSR and emergency re-engineering capability and relevant policy support,an evolutionary game model of CSR behavior is established,which clarifies the motivation of CSR to enhance emergency gain and generate emergency synergy benefits,then further clarifies the inner mechanism of CSR affecting emergency re-engineering capability in the analysis of value chain formation and value network symbiosis of emergency gain.To provide an argumentative basis for the subsequent empirical analysis.Again,based on Chinese A-share listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen from 2010 to 2021,we construct three dimensions to measure emergency re-engineering capability:resilience assurance degree,flexibility synergy degree,and resilience pioneering degree calculate the comprehensive score using the coefficient of variation method and explore the effect of CSR on emergency reengineering capability,meanwhile,based on the analysis of the mechanism of action,two moderators with subjective and objective effects,the degree of information asymmetry and environmental uncertainty,is introduced to explore the influence of both in the relationship between CSR and emergency re-engineering capability.Stata statistical software was used to conduct descriptive statistical analysis,fixed effects regression,stepwise mediation regression analysis,and robustness analysis using double difference score(DID),placebo test,and instrumental variables method,and the following conclusions were drawn:(1)CSR has a positive impact on emergency re-engineering capability;(2)the degree of information asymmetry plays a partly mediating role in CSR and emergency re-engineering capability,i.e.,CSR plays a "signaling effect" to reduce the degree of information asymmetry to improve emergency re-engineering capability;(3)environmental uncertainty plays a partly mediating role in CSR and emergency re-engineering capability,i.e.,CSR plays an "insurance effect"(4)In the further analysis,the differential effects of CSR on emergency re-engineering capability are investigated from different property rights,different marketization processes and different industry types,and it is found that the social responsibility performance of non-state enterprises,regions with low marketization processes and industrial enterprises is more The impact of CSR on emergency re-engineering capability is significant.Finally,from the government,enterprises,and government-enterprise multi-stakeholder levels,it is proposed that the government should motivate the fulfillment of social responsibility and improve emergency management through top-level design,service guidance,demonstration and incentive,and supervision and management;enterprises should strengthen their training investment and form a "1+N"cooperation.To improve emergency management capability and reengineer emergency management effectiveness,and help enterprises achieve sustainable and healthy development. |
