| With the rapid development of the "Belt and Road" initiative towards a deeper regional economy, the cross-border trade business environment of countries in the region is an important part of the business environment, which has a non-negligible impact on commodity trade between China and countries along the route. In addition, the State Council recently issued the "Notice on Further Deepening Cross-border Trade Facilitation Reform and Optimizing the Business Environment at Ports" mentioned in a series of measures, the purpose of which is to further deepen the reform of crossborder trade facilitation, optimize the port business environment, and thus improve the level of cross-border trade facilitation,so the General Administration of Customs, the Development and Reform Commission, the Transport and other departments actively respond to the government’s decision-making arrangements, and the creation of a good cross-border trade business environment is listed as the top priority at present. The better the business environment and the more convenient cross-border trade, the more frequent economic and trade activities between China and countries along the Belt and Road, thereby promoting the stable and healthy development of bilateral trade and further promoting the progress of world economy and trade.Relying on the regional development of the "Belt and Road",this paper discusses the impact of the cross-border trade business environment of countries along the "Belt and Road" on China’s export trade. As a developing world trading power,China’s trade in high-tech products has developed rapidly,so choosing to focus on the export of China’s high-tech products is of great significance to the development of domestic and world economy and trade.Based on the above background, this article will focus on the impact of the cross-border trade business environment of countries along the "Belt and Road" on high-tech exports that China is concerned about today. The paper consists of five parts: introduction, theory and mechanism analysis, crossborder trade business environment and development status of export high-tech products in countries along the Belt and Road, empirical analysis and conclusions, and corresponding countermeasures. The empirical part of trade mainly measures the crossborder trade business environment of countries along the Belt and Road from six aspects: customs clearance time, customs clearance fee, documents required for customs clearance, customs efficiency, customs transparency and overall customs service level, and then analyzes its specific impact on China’s high-tech product exports,so as to provide a theoretical basis and guiding role for the optimization of cross-border trade business environment between China and countries along the route and even economies in the world.Through the empirical evidence of the impact of cross-border trade business environment on China’s exports of high-tech products,it is concluded that if the cross-border trade business environment of countries along the Belt and Road is improved, the total amount of high-tech exports from China will also increase. In the follow-up heterogeneity test, the impact of cross-border trade business environment on the export of high-tech products of countries along the Belt and Road in different regions, income and foreign dependence was further analyzed.Based on this background,in order to further optimize and improve the bilateral trade and business environment between China and countries along the "Belt and Road",Chapter 5provides countermeasures and suggestions for promoting the export of high-tech products,so that China and its trading partners can achieve high-quality economic and trade development. |
