In recent years,Internet has affected many aspects of economic development when the information technology is upgrading.Internet technology has caused a huge impact on traditional trade method,cross-border e-commerce has played an important role in China's trade.Cross-border e-commerce has been identified as the new engine of economic growth.The “the belt and road” initiative help China's export sectors explore more and more overseas market.In integration of cross-border e-commerce and “the belt and road” will become the important topic of theory and practice.Therefore,the study will assess the developmental level of China's cross-border e-commerce and examine its trade effect based the sample of countries along “ the belt and road”.Based on many existing literature,this study establishes a theory framework to discuss the impact of cross-border e-comerce on international trade from the perspective of trade intermediary,trade convenience,trade risk and transaction cost.Then,the study uses principal component analysis to measure the development level of cross-border e-commerce of China's provinces in 2011-2016.Then,the study use fixed effect model to examine the impact of cross-border e-commerce on international trade in China's different export areas and different trade partners.There are three mian conclusions of the study:(1)the development of cross-border e-commerce in China is pretty unbalanced,the eastern and coastal areas are more higher than other area;(2)the impact of cross-border e-commerce on export trade is two-way,and the overall impact is not significant.(3)cross-border e-commerce has a significant positive role in promoting export to the countries along “ silk road and the net” from the eastern coastal area of China.Finally,this study puts some relevant policy suggestions for governments:(1)to improve the developmental level of cross-border e-commerce comprehensively;(2)to reduce the trade risks;(3)to promote the transformation of trade method exactly;(4)to have a reasonable estimate of the value of cross-border e-commerce.
