| China’s border tourism is developing rapidly and is defined as a characteristic pillar industry in the border areas,becoming an important driving force to promote the economic and social development of the border areas and an important path to realize the revitalization of the border and enrichment of the border people;at the same time,in the development wave of China’s deepening opening up to the outside world,the process of the action to promote the border and enrich the people has been accelerated and the development level of the relevant regions has been significantly improved,and the action to promote the border and enrich the people has provided an important foundation and supporting conditions for the development of border tourism.At the same time,in the wave of China’s significantly improved.It is obvious that there is an inherent correlation and interaction between border tourism and the development of the border to enrich the people,and only when the two are mutually adapted and coordinated can the positive benefits be maximized.Therefore,in the macro background of the country vigorously developing border tourism and promoting the process of developing the border to enrich the people,how to realize the coordinated and high-quality development of border tourism and developing the border to enrich the people is an issue worthy of in-depth discussion.At present,the studies on border tourism development and the process of enriching people by the border are still concentrated in their own independent systems,and few scholars have conducted empirical investigations on the interaction between border tourism and enriching people by the border.Therefore,this paper takes 11 border cities and municipalities in the southwest ethnic region as research cases,analyzes the interaction mechanism between border tourism and the development of the border,and analyzes the dynamic mechanism of the coupled development of the two systems at three levels: coupling driving force,coupling attractiveness,and coupling support force,based on the research in border tourism,development of the border and enrichment of the people,and other related fields.Secondly,on the basis of elaborating the connotation of the concept of border tourism and the prosperity of the border,the coupled evaluation index system of the two systems is constructed on the basis of the design principles of indicators such as scientificity,accessibility and representativeness.Then,various models and methods such as comprehensive level index model,coupling degree model,coupling coordination degree model and obstacle degree model are used to empirically analyze the coupled and coordinated development of border tourism and the development of border rich people in southwest ethnic areas,and explore the comprehensive evaluation level,coupling development trend,coordination development trend and obstacle factors affecting the coupled development of border tourism development and the development of border rich people.Finally,based on the research results,we propose countermeasures and suggestions to promote the coupled and coordinated development of border tourism and the development of the border to enrich the people in the southwest ethnic areas.The main research findings are as follows.(1)There is a significant interactive coupling relationship between the development of border tourism and the process of developing the border and enriching the people,and they influence and interact with each other.For one,the mechanism of the coupling development of border tourism and the development of the border rich people is that the border tourism drives the process of the development of the border rich people by enriching the resource base,expanding the market scale,improving the economic benefits and perfecting the support conditions,and the development of the border rich people has a feedback effect on the development of border tourism in the southwest ethnic areas through the comprehensive development of infrastructure,livelihood protection,industrial structure,border trade development and solidarity and stability of the border.feedback effect on the development of border tourism in southwestern ethnic areas.Secondly,the coupled development dynamic mechanism of the two systems of border tourism and the development of border rich people is reflected as follows: the three dynamic changes of coupling driving force,coupling attractiveness and coupling support force converge into the coupling synergy of the coordinated development of border tourism and the development of border rich people in southwest ethnic areas,and together they promote the coordinated development of border tourism and the development of border rich people in a spiral.(2)The comprehensive evaluation level of border tourism development in southwest ethnic areas and the comprehensive evaluation level of the process of promoting the border and enriching the people both show continuous growth from 2007 to 2019,but in general,the development of border tourism lags behind the process of promoting the border and enriching the people;in terms of coupling degree,the mean value of coupling degree of the two systems is 0.955,and the overall is at a high level of coupling stage,and in terms of the spatial distribution of 11 cities and towns,the coupling degree in four In terms of the spatial distribution of the 11 cities,the coupling degree in the 4 time cross-sections shows 2 states,namely,the friction stage and the high level coupling stage,and the coupling relationship between the two systems shows a development trend of gradual strengthening,and the border cities and towns in the whole area of the southwest ethnic region are in the high level coupling stage in 2019;in terms of the coupling coordination degree,the overall trend is stable and increasing,and the relationship between the border tourism and the border prosperity system in the southwest ethnic region is interacting and promoting each other in In 2019,only one city in Honghe Prefecture is in high level coordination,only Nujiang Prefecture is still in disorder,and the rest of the cities and towns are in coordination level and mostly concentrated in primary coordination and intermediate coordination level;from the spatial combination distribution,the 11 cities and towns in the southwest ethnic region are in the border tourism and the prosperity of the border and the people.The spatial combination of coupling degree and coupling coordination degree does not correspond to each other.(3)Based on the analysis of the obstacle degree of the coupling and coordination of border tourism and border-rich people in the southwest ethnic region in four time cross-sections: 2007,2011,2015 and 2019,the obstacle degree of the border tourism system in the southwest ethnic region is slightly larger than that of the border-rich people system,and the difference between the obstacle degree of the two systems is gradually decreasing.On the system element layer,the obstacle degree of the element layer of 11 cities in southwest China’s ethnic areas does not change greatly and remains stable,and the obstacle degree of economic benefits in the border tourism system is always in the first place,followed by the factor of livelihood protection;on the system indicator layer,all the indicators of the border tourism system are involved,while the obstacle factor of Xingbianfumin system is more and more involved as time changes.However,the overall characteristics of border tourism>Renhancing the border and enriching the people are still presented.(4)Based on the results of empirical analysis,the following countermeasures are proposed for the coordinated and quality development of border tourism and border-rich people coupling in southwest ethnic areas: first,accelerate the development of border tourism and realize the synchronization with the action of border-rich people;second,vigorously promote the action of border-rich people and steadily drive the development of border tourism;third,pay attention to regional development differences and strengthen the cooperation of state and city affiliation. |
