| In recent years,with the rapid development of semiconductor,computer technology and network communication industry,the embedded system industry has ushered in another peak.At the same time as the overall market demand continues to grow,users have also put forward higher and higher requirements for the delivery time of embedded system development and the rapid response to demand changes.This poses a serious challenge to the current embedded system development model supported by traditional project management theories.The case enterprise MC Company studied in this paper is an American family-owned enterprise established in 1956.The embedded thermodynamic measurement and control system is the main product of MC Company.Although MC’s embedded system products have achieved a considerable amount of marketing since their launch,they have also accumulated some problems with the sales team and clients.This paper takes MC Company,an American family enterprise as an example,based on the theories of project management,modularization and agile development,firstly introduces the status quo of MC Company’s embedded system development mode,and then applies the interview method and questionnaire survey method to the development of MC Company’s embedded system.The problems existing in the model are investigated and researched.The study found that MC’s embedded system development model currently faces five deficiencies in five aspects:unreasonable team organization structure,inadequate user demand management,long product delivery time,weak ability to respond to demand changes,and insufficient awareness of user cooperation.After in-depth analysis,it is found that these five deficiencies are related to the waterfall development mode currently adopted by MC’s embedded system.Therefore,this paper introduces the agile development theory into the embedded system development project of MC Company,and proposes the optimization scheme of the embedded system development mode of MC Company with the aid of modular design method,such as setting up an agile team to optimize the organizational structure,using user stories to strengthen demand management,Shorten delivery time with story point sequencing,enhance response to changes in requirements through modular agile methods,and enhance user collaboration through agile value.At the same time,corresponding safeguards are given.Finally,through the analysis of the control experiment,it is concluded that this optimization scheme has a significant effect on solving the existing problems of MC’s embedded system.The research results of this paper not only help to optimize the development mode of MC’s embedded system,shorten the product delivery time,and improve the ability to respond to demand changes,thereby enhancing the comprehensive competitiveness of MC’s embedded systems and improving the profitability of MC’s company,but also to other Embedded system enterprises adopting waterfall development model have certain reference and reference value. |
