Research On China-India Economic Cooperation Under The BRICS Mechanism

Economic relations are the most positive area of China-India bilateral relations,but they are often affected by the complex bilateral conflicts of interest between the two countries,and economic cooperation is very limited.Since China and India have many common interests in economic development,the complex state of bilateral relations is not conducive to the two cooperation in common interests.Therefore,China and India need to use the BRICS mechanism to establish mutual expectations of each other’s behavior and promote economic cooperation.Economic cooperation is the biggest highlight and achievement of the BRICS mechanism.However,considering the economic interaction between China and India under the BRICS mechanism,the economic relations between the two countries need to be further improved.China and India face various difficulties in their economic cooperation under the BRICS mechanism.On the surface,the economic cooperation is ineffective,bilateral investment cooperation is low,structural imbalance of bilateral trade,bilateral financial cooperation is lacking,economic cooperation under BRICS mechanism is difficult,and the implementation of the policy agreement on BRICS countries is insufficient.Through a thorough investigation,it is found that three reasons have affected the economic cooperation between China and India under the BRICS mechanism.The differences in national interests between China and India affect economic cooperation.The two border disputes,economic development level and strategic positioning have affected the two economic cooperation,among which the border conflict has the most profound impact.External forces have blocked China-India economic cooperation under the BRICS mechanism.The adjustment of the international pattern caused by the strategic competition between China and the US has increased the conflict of interests between China and India,and the multilateral economic mechanism and the "four-sided mechanism" involved by China and India have weakened the synergy of China-India economic cooperation.The brics mechanism impetus is the main reason of China and India under the brics mechanism of economic cooperation,the brics mechanism common interests differentiation affects the china-India economic cooperation,the brics institutional construction process affects the behavior of mutual cooperation,the brics internal economic construction level also restrict the deepening of china-India economic cooperation.China-India economic cooperation and the development of BRICS countries are mutually influential and dialectically unified.Promote economic cooperation under the brics mechanism should adhere to mutual respect,on the basis of legal norms,to discuss,step by step,"brics spirit" and a series of principles,on the basis of strengthening the strategic mutual trust and promote economic development to improve bilateral relations,by enhancing the brics common interests and strengthen the brics institutionalization to enhance the level of cooperation in the brics,by increasing international coordination to effectively promote china-India economic cooperation under the brics mechanism.
