The Research On The Comparison Of The Regional Economic Cooperation In China

With the rapid development of social economic in China, especially after accessing to the WTO and deepening of reform and opening up , the connection of regional economic have being increasing closely in China; the scope and areas of regional cooperation have been expanding continually and the cooperation scale have being broadening continually. Regional cooperation will gradually change from relying mainly on the traditional government "counterpart supporting" to market-oriented with enterprises as the mainstay of the regional economic cooperation. The multi-directional, multi-level and broad-areas of cooperation have increased among various regions of our country. The coordinated regional organizations are growing continually. The cooperation mechanism is also improving constantly. In the process of economic transformation, regional economic cooperation and development in China still faces with many problems and challenges, the regional differences still exists. Therefore, to promote regional economic cooperation of China, it is necessary to take advantage of comparatives superiority of each region, take effective measures and make joint efforts to achieve new leaps forward.Based on the comparative analysis of regional economic cooperation among the Changjiang Delta, the Pan-Pearl River Delta and the Bohai Rim, this thesis sums up the experiences and lessons of the three economic circles in their respective regional economic cooperation and provides important reference value for strengthening the economy of the three economic circles. At the same time, this thesis provides broader background for regional economic cooperation of other economic circles, such as big to the western, central, and the three northeast provinces, small to Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan, the Nanning-Guiyang-Kunming, big Wuhan economic circle and inter-regional economic cooperation between central and eastern part, opens up coordinated regional development and realizes a new win-win pattern.This paper is divided into four parts. In the first part, it reviews the recearch on theories of regional economic cooperation, sums up the dynamics of this area and then proposes the design of this framework. The second part introduces the developing status, achievements and problems of the Pan-Pearl River Delta, the Changjiang Delta and the Bohai Rim. The third part is the focal point of this paper. It analyses economic indicators, the cooperation mechanism, industrial cooperation deeply among three major economic circles and discusses the reasons for the differences among three parts. The part four summarizes experiences and lessons of the three economic circles in their respective regional economic cooperation, puts forward the reasonable proposals and gives a forecast of the future trend of Chinese regional economic cooperation.
