A Study On Yunnan-India Regional Economic Cooperation From The View Of Geopolitics

Regional economic cooperation now is the current of world economy development, and sub regional economic cooperation with neighboring countries and regions is hot topic and key point. However, in the process of regional economic cooperation, because affected by factors, economic cooperation has its own characters and limit ion. This research focuses on Yunnan-India regional economic cooperation in a view of Geopolitics. Based on pervious researches, this paper firstly tries to discuss the relationship between Geopolitics and regional economic cooperation in theory, and then studies theory discussion and case study on how to do regional economic cooperation. In the study of demonstration, this paper tries to discuss the regional economic cooperation content, mechanism and method between Yunan and India under the background of Geopolitical relationship in order to provide new may of thinking for regional economic cooperation of Geopolitical relationship.This paper is divided into six parts. The first is the introduction of the full text. The second part makes theoretical analysis of the relationship between Geopolitics and regional economic cooperation. Through analysis of development, content, essential and characteristics of Geopolitics theories, this paper generates Geopolitical factors which affect regional economic cooperation. Based on analysis of relationship between Geopolitics and regional economic cooperation, this paper makes deep analysis on the basic and Geopolitics of Yunnan-India regional economic cooperation. The forth part analyzes the present condition of Yunnan-India regional economic cooperation. Based on history development, trade, science and technology exchange, this part reviews the present Yunnan-India regional economic cooperation. And then the forth part praises the cooperation content, mechanism and method. The fifth part analyzes Yunnan-India regional economic cooperation in view of Geopolitics. Based on previous analysis, through the feasibility analysis of Yunnan-India regional economic cooperation under the Geopolitical relationship, this paper puts forward the content mechanism and method of Yunnan-India regional economic cooperation. This paper especially stresses that under present Yunnan-India Geopolitical relationship, it is necessary to set up efficient organizational mechanism. At meantime, this paper points out that four mechanisms should be settled for the construction of efficient organizational mechanism: organization and coordination mechanism, law prohibition mechanism, motive mechanism and circulation mechanism. The sixth part is the conclusion part.This paper makes theoretical discussion in the view of the relationship between Geopolitics and regional economic cooperation, which can be added into Regional Economics and Regional cooperation Theories. In the angle of Geopolitics, this paper can provide theory support and scientific decision support for other regional economic cooperation, BCIM cooperation, Yunnan-South Asian cooperation, Yunan-India cooperation.
