With globalization accelerating and the rise of the "Internet +" economic model,most business projects are time-sensitive and require intensive communication among team members.The COVID-19 pandemic has further accelerated the transformation of work forms,making knowledge-intensive work more dispersed in time and space.Virtual teams have become a common form of work,and employees’ response behavior is an important factor affecting online collaboration.Therefore,enterprises need to pay attention to how employees’ response behaviors affect their collaboration performance in online office context,and then take special measures to improve employee collaboration performance.Based on the Antecedent-Process-Outcome framework,we explore the influential mechanism from the perspective of social interaction and technical communication.This study proposed the concept of response expectation-response behavior fit based on person-environment fit theory,and constructed a model of the impact of response expectation-response behavior fit on collaboration performance from the social interaction.At the same time,considering that collaboration performance is also affected by the behavior pattern of technology use,this study explores the impact of multiple social media response behaviors on collaboration performance based on border theory and channel complementarity theory.From the perspective of technical communication,a model of the impact of enterprise social media-private social media response behavior fit on collaboration performance is constructed.In this study,a total of 308 valid questionnaires were obtained through the online questionnaire platform.Then,polynomial regression and response surface methodology were used to verify the empirical results.The results show that the social interaction and technical communication is important ways to influence the collaboration performance.In addition,in the case of "low response expectation-high response behavior",the collaboration performance of employees is higher.When enterprise social media-private social media response is inconsistent,the level of collaboration performance and availability of employees is higher.Finally,this study discusses the theoretical contribution and management implications of the findings,in order to provide some references for organization and employees.
