Comparison Of The International Competitiveness Of China-US Productive Service Trade And Analysis Of Influencing Factors

With the in-depth development of economic globalization,the proportion of service industry and service trade is increasing.As a knowledge-and technology-intensive industry,the service industry has achieved rapid growth in recent years and has now become a pillar industry in some countries,especially developed countries.In addition,the advanced degree of the service industry is also one of the important criteria for measuring the level of a country’s economic development.As a value-added and technology-intensive sector in the service industry,the development of productive service trade is inextricably linked to the rise and fall of a country’s economy.As we all know,China and the United States both play a very important role in the world economic structure,and the economic and trade ties between the two sides are also relatively close.Then,by comparing the development level of productive service trade between China and the United States,and further understanding its changing trend and disturbance factors,it is of great significance to enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of China’s service trade in the international market,promote the cooperation between China and the United States service industry,and promote China’s national economic growth.This paper first analyzes the overall development of the manufacturing service industry in China and the United States,and then compares the competitiveness of the productive service industry in China and the United States by using the MSI index,TC index,RCA index and GVC-position index,focusing on the competitiveness of China’s financial,transportation,communications,computer,insurance and pension services with the United States,and constructs the BVAR model using Michael ? Porter’s "diamond model" theory.This paper analyzes whether the proportion of China’s product trade to GDP,the GDP of R&D investment,the proportion of GDP,the number of employment in the tertiary industry,public financial expenditure,and per capita GDP have a significant impact on the export of service trade and the direction and size of their impact.Finally,on the basis of empirical research,corresponding policies and programs are put forward for the development of China’s productive service trade.This is of great practical significance for China to maintain the competitiveness of its competitive service industry and enhance the competitiveness of weak service industries in future international trade.
