| Shanxi province bears the heavy burden of "taking the lead in forging a new path in transformation and development",and the transformation and development of Shanxi province requires not only internal synergy, but also external assistance. The state attaches great importance to the process of transformation and development in Shanxi Province. In 2018,the National Development and Reform Commission issued the Opinions on Supporting Strengthening Cooperation between Shanxi Province and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region to Realize Linkage Development, which provided guidance for Shanxi Province to strengthen interregional cooperation and strengthen regional ties with Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region; In the "Tenth Five-Year Plan",Shanxi Province also emphasized the strategic deployment of strengthening the integration and development with Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.Deepening the linkage development between Shanxi Province and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has become an important way for Shanxi Province to transform and develop. The economic ties between cities are the key inducement to promote the formation and development of urban system, and also an important factor affecting the coordinated development of regional economy.Under the background of strengthening cooperation between Shanxi Province and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, what is the current development status of the two places? What is the state of economic ties? How to strengthen the economic ties between Shanxi Province and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and realize the common development of the two places? These problems deserve our in-depth exploration. This paper studies the economic relations between Shanxi Province and BeijingTianjin-Hebei region by combing the relevant literature and materials, clarifying the relevant concepts and theories.Firstly, the development level of 24 cities in Shanxi province and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region in the past 10 years was measured by comprehensive evaluation method, and the results were visualized by Arcgis software. Then, the industrial complementarity between Shanxi Province and Beijing-TianjinHebei region is measured by Krugman coefficient method.Secondly, the economic gravity between the two cities is calculated through the modified gravity model, and the changes of urban economic ties are analyzed from the perspective of time and space, and the changes of economic ties of major cities are analyzed from the perspective of hierarchical economic functional centers.Thirdly, the characteristics of the urban economic contact network between Shanxi Province and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region are analyzed from the perspectives of the overall network situation, network centrality, network cohesion subgroups and regional network map. Finally, according to the conclusions of the above research, some suggestions are put forward to strengthen the economic ties between Shanxi Province and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The research shows that: First, the coordinated development level of cities in Shanxi Province and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has widened, and the level of industrial complementarity between the two places is high. The standard deviation of the level of coordinated development between the two places increased from 8.77 in2011 to 12.92 in 2020,and the level of industrial complementarity mostly remained above 0.6,which has a good foundation for industrial cooperation.Second, the total economic ties have increased significantly, and the economic ties between the two places have become closer. In 2020,the total economic ties between the two places will be 2.09 times that of 2011,the network density will increase from 0.24 to 0.39,the average network path will be significantly shortened, and the number of new economic ties will reach 12 pairs, which will obviously enhance the urban economic ties.Third, there are obvious differences between Shanxi Province and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and the overall network centrality is obvious. There are obvious differences between Shanxi Province and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region in the total amount of foreign economic ties, network density and the number of economic function centers. At present, the main body of the overall network is still Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and the network center potential reaches 60%.Beijing,the economic core, shields and weakens the role of other economic function centers to some extent.Fourth, the regional differentiation of the intensity of foreign economic ties is obvious.Cities with close distance have closer economic ties and show obvious regional agglomeration characteristics. From the perspective of agglomeration subgroups, they can be divided into the central functional area of Beijing-Tianjin-Baoding with Beijing and Tianjin as the core, the southern cities of Hebei with Shijiazhuang as the core, and the Jinzhong urban agglomeration with Taiyuan as the core, while the southern and northern cities of Shanxi Province and northern cities of Hebei Province have also formed urban contact networks without obvious core cities.Fifthly, the economic growth of Shanxi Province is very simple, and the economic ties between cities in the province are weak.Shanxi Province is only a Grade II economic function center in Taiyuan City, while other cities are Grade IV,with poor overall development level, and limited economic radiation scope in Taiyuan City, which is obviously not close enough to the urban economic ties between northern Shanxi and southern Shanxi, and this situation needs to be improved.According to the conclusion of the study, this paper puts forward some policy suggestions to strengthen the economic ties between Shanxi Province and BeijingTianjin-Hebei region from the overall situation: first, enhance the level of coordinated urban development and promote the regional coordinated development strategy;Second, deepen industrial division of labor and realize industrial integration and docking between cities;Third, build three-dimensional traffic, reduce transportation costs, and fourth;Enhance the outward-oriented function of the city and give play to the driving effect of "one core and many cities". |
