The rural revitalization strategy has sounded the "rallying call" for the development of rural areas, and many eyes have begun to gather on rural areas, and many resources have begun to converge in rural areas. While attaching importance to the development of rural revitalization strategy,we should pay more attention to how to take every step well, how to enable farmers to have a sustainable and stable source of income, and improving the income level of farmers will also become a key indicator of rural revitalization construction. As economic development enters the new normal,China’s agriculture has begun to enter the stage of transformation and upgrading, and the traditional extensive agricultural production methods can no longer meet the needs of farmers for sustained and stable income growth, and it is more difficult for farmers to increase income, and it is urgent to find a new way for farmers to increase income. In 2015,the integrated development of rural primary, secondary and tertiary industries began to be proposed as a new way for farmers to increase income.Since then, the state has successively introduced a number of policy documents to encourage the integrated development of rural three industries, and all parts of the country have begun to actively explore new models of rural industrial integration and development, and many demonstration pilots have emerged. However, due to the different agricultural development bases and development characteristics in different regions of China, the regional heterogeneity characteristics are obvious, and the income increase effect brought by the development of rural industrial integration is also uncertain. Therefore, this paper first analyzes the mechanism of rural industrial integration on farmers’ income by combing domestic and foreign literature, analyzes the mechanism of rural industrial integration development on farmers’ income, selects short-term panel data from 30 provinces(excluding Tibet)in China from 2014 to 2019,comprehensively calculates the comprehensive score of rural industrial integration development, and uses the fixed-effect model to empirically investigate the impact of rural industrial integration development on farmers’ income and its regional heterogeneity.Empirical research finds that the integrated development of rural industries in China has a good role in promoting farmers’ income, and when further introducing control variables to explore the differences between regions in China,it is found that with the development of industrial integration in recent years, the development momentum of the central region is the most obvious, and it can drive the increase of farmers’ income.Next, corresponding measures are proposed in view of the current situation of rural industrial integration and development,so as to promote the in-depth development of rural industrial integration in various regions in a more targeted manner, build a rural industrial integration development system that conforms to local development, pay attention to the regional differences in the income effect of rural industrial integration development, and maximize the income effect of rural industrial integration development. |
