| Since the reform and opening up,China has insisted on export-oriented development of export-oriented economy,which has made an important contribution to the growth of national economy of China.Along with the continuous development of digital technology and technological civilization,foreign trade has gradually changed from the simple pursuit of "quantity" to "quality",and the goal of achieving high-quality development of foreign trade has become an important goal in the pursuit of China’s foreign trade development.High-tech products are the leading technology industry that drives China’s manufacturing industry upgrade and improves the international competitiveness of export products.Driving the technology level of high-tech industry to improve in the era of digital economy is of great significance to promote China’s manufacturing industry technology upgrade and promote the whole industrial chain and industry upgrade,thus promoting the technical complexity of high-tech industry export in the era of digital economy has become an important issue.Along with the rapid development of digital economy,high-tech industry is ushering in unprecedented development opportunities,and the promotion of digital technology to enhance the technical complexity of high-tech industry exports provides a new path and opportunity to solve the "neck" problem faced by China’s high-tech manufacturing industry and to enhance the international competitiveness of high-tech products.Therefore,it is of extensive and far-reaching practical significance to study the influence of the development of digital economy on the export technical complexity of high-tech industries.In this thesis,theoretical and empirical analyses are applied to comprehensively analyze the impact of digital economy development on the technical complexity of export of high-tech industries.Firstly,the literature related to the digital economy and export technical complexity is sorted out,the research direction and research content of this thesis are clarified,and the hypothesis that the development of the digital economy can enhance the technical complexity of high technology industry exports through cost-effective mechanism and technological innovation mechanism is proposed;secondly,the development level of digital economy,the development level of digital industrialization and the development level of industrial digitalization are constructed from three levels: the development carrier of digital economy,the development level of digital industrialization and the development level of industrial digitalization.Secondly,we construct an index system to evaluate the development level of digital economy from three levels:the development carrier of digital economy,the development level of digital industrialization and the development level of industrial digitalization,and use the entropy value method to measure the development level of digital economy in each province(municipality directly under the central government)and conduct a comparative analysis,and also measure the technical complexity of high-tech industry exports and conduct a status quo analysis.Based on the theoretical mechanism and the development of the current situation,panel data of 30 Chinese provinces(municipalities directly under the central government)from 2011 to 2020 are selected as the research samples to empirically analyze the influence of the development of digital economy on the technical complexity of high-tech industry exports,and heterogeneity analysis and mechanism analysis are also conducted.According to the theoretical,current situation and empirical analysis,this thesis draws the following conclusions:(1)there is a relatively obvious "digital divide" in China’s digital economy development level;(2)digital economy development can significantly improve the technical complexity of high-tech industry exports;(3)heterogeneity analysis shows that the impact of digital economy development on the technical complexity of high-tech industry exports is regional and heterogeneous.(3)Heterogeneity analysis shows that there are regional and inter-industry differences in the impact of digital economy development on the technical complexity of high-tech industry exports,with more significant effects on the eastern,western and northeastern regions,positive and significant effects on the electronics and communication equipment manufacturing,aerospace and equipment manufacturing,and computer and office equipment manufacturing industries,and insignificant effects on the pharmaceutical manufacturing,medical instruments and equipment,and instrumentation manufacturing industries;(4)Further mechanism tests show that digital economy development enhances the export technology complexity of high-tech industries through the cost effect mechanism and technological innovation mechanism.Based on the results of this study,this thesis proposes relevant countermeasures: first,optimize the layout of the digital economy and bridge the "digital divide";second,promote the digital development of high-tech industries and improve the level of industrial digitalization;third,strengthen the collaboration of high-tech industries and enhance the layout of high-tech industrial chain;fourth,adhere to the innovation-driven development strategy Fourth,adhere to the innovation-driven development strategy,and improve the level of investment in R&D. |
