The complexity of enterprise innovation process is increasing with the constant change of market environment,and the development of innovation has become a complex network behavior with multi-factor interaction.The root cause for enterprises to identify opportunities in a transient business environment,or to regret quitting in the digital wave,lies in whether they can resist external shocks.At the same time,the frequent occurrence of destructive events makes innovation full of great uncertainty and variability,and resilience and vulnerability have gradually become the core concepts for enterprises to carry out innovation.Academics are increasingly interested in how to understand the complexity of resilience in the process of innovation.Under the double pressure of complex competitive environment and knowledge creation cost,scholars point out that embedding knowledge network can improve the ability of enterprises to integrate innovation resources and resist innovation risks by absorbing key elements such as external dispersed knowledge and information.Scholars have discussed the influencing factors of enterprise’s innovation resilience from many angles,but they are limited by the limitations of a single research subject,research methods and specific situations,which leads to the lack of explanation of the influencing mechanism of enterprise’s innovation resilience in specific situations.The formation mechanism and influencing factors of enterprise’s innovation resilience under the background of knowledge network embedding need to be further explored.Based on this,this paper discusses the combination of antecedents and conditions that produce innovation resilience under the background of knowledge network embedding,and combs its formation path,which is of guiding significance for enterprises to effectively manage the uncertainty in the innovation process in complex network relations.In view of this,this paper focuses on the research of enterprise innovation resilience under the background of knowledge network embedding,selects six representative antecedents with the help of TOE framework,discusses the antecedent combination and formation path of enhancing enterprise innovation resilience from the system perspective,analyzes the sample data of 212 science and technology enterprises with fs QCA(fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis),and explains the antecedent combination and formation path of enterprise innovation resilience from the system perspective based on configuration theory,with a view to expanding the research perspective for the research of innovation resilience and providing enlightenment and guidance for enterprises to enhance innovation resilience.On the basis of the existing research results in the field,this study combines the scene of enterprises embedding in knowledge networks with the TOE framework to build a comprehensive analysis framework that includes three dimensions of technology,organization and environment,including six antecedents: technological diversification,technological proximity,dynamic capability,organizational convention,complexity of competitive environment and turbulence of technological environment.Then,on the basis of mature research scale in the field,these antecedents are measured,and the collected data are tested for reliability,validity and common deviation respectively.Finally,fs QCA analysis software is used to sort out various equivalent antecedent configurations to achieve high innovation toughness,and corresponding management enlightenment is put forward on the basis of empirical research and further research prospects are made.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows: First,the enterprise’s innovation resilience is characterized by "multiple concurrency" and "all roads lead to the same goal".A single factor in technology,organization and environment is not a necessary condition to form a high-level innovation resilience,and innovation resilience is the result of multiple factors.Second,there are many combinations of equivalent antecedents that lead to the high-level innovation resilience of enterprises,mainly including three types.Type 1emphasizes the leading role of antecedents at the level of technology and environment,while technological proximity and complexity of competitive environment exist as the core causal conditions.Type 2 emphasizes the leading role at the level of technology and organization.At this time,technological diversification and dynamic capability exist as the core causal conditions,and Type 3 emphasizes the balanced driving of factors at the level of technology,organization and environment.Third,contrast leads to the formation path of low-level innovation toughness.When enterprises are in a complex competitive environment,the lack of technological diversification will make it difficult for enterprises to capture complementary and compatible technical knowledge in the network,and the lack of dynamic ability will make it difficult for enterprises to remain competitive in a complex competitive environment.Excessive organizational practices are an important factor leading to low innovation toughness when enterprises are in a turbulent technological environment.The solidification of existing organizational models and mechanisms will lead to the weakening of innovation’s ability to withstand uncertainty.Therefore,managers need to design a reasonable operation structure according to different practical needs and strategic planning to obtain high resilience of innovation,so as to adapt to changes while maintaining a high level of innovation efficiency,improve the anti-risk ability in the innovation process and reduce the risk of failure.
