| China’s express delivery industry is constantly refreshing the history in terms of speed and quantity. The development of the express delivery market not only lies in the rapid development of express delivery enterprises and express business, but also in the "last 100 meters" end of the express delivery market, where a hundred flowers blossom and a hundred schools of thought contend.Direct allocation of couriers,self-pickup of express stations and delivery of express cabinets are the main forms of express terminal distribution. However, due to the competition of express enterprises, the city terminal cannot reasonably allocate terminal resources and operate efficiently, which exposes the problems of door-to-door delivery, uneven service quality, repeated waste of resources and high cost in the express terminal market. This requires the express delivery industry not only to optimize and upgrade, but also to reform and innovate. In this thesis, the end-delivery mode of express is selected as the research object to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of different delivery modes.Based on S city, the end-delivery market is investigated, the demand of consumer market is analyzed, and the improvement of the delivery mode is explored to make it fit the demand of consumer market,so as to solve various pain points of the current end-delivery mode of express,so as to achieve the purpose of integrating end-delivery resources and reducing delivery costs. On the basis of theoretical analysis, the thesis tries to explore the distribution mode in S city, implement the new distribution mode, and obtain preliminary data to verify whether the improved distribution mode is feasible.Based on whether the new distribution mode can be applied in other cities, this thesis also proposes more comprehensive optimization measures through analysis and research,so as to achieve higher practical value and promotion value. |
