| As the new round of scientific and technological revolution continues to advance,the contribution of innovation as a factor in industrial structure change is becoming more and more prominent.As an important spatial carrier carrying the flow of economic factors,cities are the main spatial units for industrial development.The urban economy provides the necessary conditions and atmosphere for innovation activities through both the large density concentration of innovation resources and the convenience of creative diffusion.The production service industry is both a dense industry of innovation resources and a key area for idea generation and diffusion,while the agglomeration of production service industry will further enhance the gathering of urban innovation resources and the sharing effect of ideas.Therefore,studying the influence of the agglomeration of productive service industry on the innovation efficiency of cities is not only important for how to promote the deepening of innovation-driven strategy through the agglomeration and integration of productive service industry,but also important for how to play the function of agglomeration of productive service industry in the construction of modern industrial system.With the realistic background of factor-driven to innovation-driven,this paper takes the promotion of urban innovation by the agglomeration effect of productive service industry as the research object and explores the influence path of different agglomeration modes of productive service industry on urban innovation efficiency.By scientifically defining the core concepts of productive service industry,industrial agglomeration and urban innovation efficiency,and using theories such as industrial agglomeration theory,regional innovation system theory and transaction cost theory as the basic support,the influence mechanism of productive service industry agglomeration on urban innovation efficiency is revealed from both specialization and diversification dimensions,and the corresponding spatial spillover effect is also explored in an extended manner.On the basis of the theoretical derivation,this paper empirically examines the degree of influence of productive service agglomeration on urban innovation efficiency based on the relevant data of 284 cities in China,using the panel two-way stationary model and the spatial Durbin model.It is found that:(1)the specialization agglomeration of productive service industry as a whole has been slowly decreasing in recent years,while the diversification agglomeration shows a fluctuating increasing trend;by regions,the specialization agglomeration and diversification agglomeration are the highest in the eastern region,followed by the western region,and the central region is relatively the lowest.There is an obvious growth trend of urban innovation efficiency,and the mean value of change shows a typical "high in the east and low in the west" regional characteristic.(2)Specialized agglomeration of productive service industries has a suppressing effect on urban innovation efficiency,while diversified agglomeration has a promoting effect on urban innovation efficiency.(3)Specialized agglomeration of productive service industries has no significant effect on the innovation efficiency of neighboring cities,while diversified agglomeration has a significant positive effect on the innovation efficiency of neighboring cities.Based on this,this paper proposes appropriate countermeasures in three aspects: implementing differentiated development strategies according to local conditions,improving intellectual property protection system and strengthening cross-regional technological innovation cooperation. |
