Today, the urban agglomeration economy is playing an increasingly important role in China's economic map.It has become the main carrier of innovation diffusion and a new engine of economic growth. Therefore, taking urban agglomeration as the research object is the leading direction of regional economic research. The productive service industry is a high-tech knowledge-intensive industry. The rationality of the structure is of great significance to the innovation competitiveness of cities and urban agglomerations. After sorting out related documents such as industrial agglomeration, productive service industry, and urban innovation, this paper cuts in from the perspective of industrial structure dynamic externalities, and uses urban agglomerations as a spatial scale to describe the level of industrial agglomeration, and divides agglomeration into specialized agglomeration and diversification.Agglomeration of two types, using panel data of 127 cities in seven major urban agglomerations in China from 2003 to 2016 to construct a dynamic spatial panel model, and a more indepth examination of the relative professional agglomeration and relative diversified agglomeration of the productive service industry on urban innovation Impact, and further explore the differences between such impacts in urban agglomerations. An empirical analysis of 127 sample cities found that:(1)the relative concentration of productive service industries has a spatial spillover effect, that is,the innovation power of a city is not only affected by the relative concentration level of local productive service industries, but also by neighboring regions The impact of the concentration level of the productive service industry;(2)As a whole, the relatively continuous impact on urban innovation is mainly related to relatively diverse agglomerations rather than relatively specialized agglomerations. The improvement of urban innovation capacity is achieved through the dynamic comparative advantages formed by the productive service industry embedded in the manufacturing value chain;(3)Further consideration of regional heterogeneity and the regression of the seven major urban agglomerations respectively, and the results show that the productive service industry The relative degree of agglomeration has a significant impact on urban innovation in urban agglomerations with different development models at different development stages.Specifically, the Pearl River Delta urban agglomeration and the Central Plains urban agglomeration, which are mainly affected by the relative specialization agglomeration, are mainly The negative influence is the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration;the Yangtze River Delta City is mainly affected by the relative diversification. The middle reaches of the Yangtze River are significantly affected by both the relatively specialized agglomeration and the relatively diverse agglomeration, while the Halong city agglomeration and Chengdu-Chongqing agglomeration are significantly negatively affected by the relatively specialized agglomeration and relatively diverse agglomeration.Hardly affected by the agglomeration of productive services. Finally, corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.
