Improvement On Quality Management Of Product Development And Testing Process In LD Company

With the rapid growth of the market scale of short transit electrified travel,consumers’ demand and expectation for the quality of short transit travel products continue to increase.As one of the core components of the electric two wheeled vehicle,the quality problem of the controller cannot be ignored.LD company is the world’s leading supplier of electric control system for short distance vehicles,the testing department of the R&D center is the last gatekeeper of LD company’s products from design to mass production.The quality of the testing process is particularly important.The most intuitive reflection of the quality of the testing process is the number of customer complaints related to design.At this time,the testing department cannot escape its responsibility.Therefore,how to improve the quality of testing process and improve the quality management level are an urgent problem to be solved by the Testing Department.This thesis takes the LD company as the research object,and the quality management improvement of product R&D and testing process as the research subject.In view of the quality status quo of the product R&D and testing process of the LD company,the subject has been studied in depth by using methods and tools such as interview,questionnaire,second-hand data,fishbone diagram,etc.First of all,this paper conducts interviews with test representatives,test team leaders,development representatives and project managers,summarizes and classifies the interviews,conducts questionnaires to relevant personnel,and analyzes the customer complaint data provided by the Quality Control Center to explore the current main problems:poor quality of test demand input,low pass rate of review at the test stage,insufficient reliability of test data,and incomplete interception of product defects.Secondly,using fishbone diagram to find out the root causes of the problems are lack of review of test requirements,imperfect review rules in the test phase,unreasonable test data review methods,and low software test coverage.Thirdly,in view of the above reasons,based on the theoretical ideas of Total Quality Management and Zero Defects,the improvement plan is formulated to carry out the test requirements review,improve the test stage review rules,improve the test data review method,and improve the software test coverage.Finally,by formulating implementation plans,identifying implementation difficulties,and formulating safeguard measures,we can ensure that the quality management improvement plan of product R&D and testing process can be effectively implemented and achieve the expected results.The research in this paper is helpful to improve the quality management level of the product R&D and testing process of LD company,further effectively intercepting product defects and ensuring product quality.During the implementation of the improvement scheme,the cooperation between the test department and other departments was promoted,and the trust of the development department to the test department was also improved.The research on quality management of product R&D and testing process in this paper also has certain reference value and significance for the exploration and practice of quality management of product R&D and testing process in embedded industry.
