The successful bid and holding of the Beijing Winter Olympics has unleashed a boom of mass participation in ice and snow sports in our country,and sports,sightseeing tourism and leisure resort related to ice and snow develop rapidly,as well as drives the development of accommodation industry at ice and snow tourism destination.With the increasing demand of ice and snow tourism destination accommodation market,the supply of accommodation appears to be insufficient.In order to solve the contradiction between supply and demand of the accommodation industry and provide suggestions for the improvement and development of the supply quality of the accommodation industry,Chongli,Zhangjiakou City is taken as the research object,starting from the demand end of the accommodation,the accommodation preference of tourists in this area is analyzed,and the accommodation consumption behavior and demand characteristics are studied.Using association rules,text analysis,time series and other factors to study tourists’ accommodation preference from multiple perspectives,and find their preference characteristics.Compared with the current single-factor study on this issue,it is an attempt to enrich the research methods of tourists’ accommodation preference and supplement the current research on ice and snow tourism service industry.At the same time,based on the analysis results,suggestions are provided for the improvement and development of the ice and snow accommodation industry,which has practical significance for optimizing the accommodation layout of Chongli in Zhangjiakou and promoting the benign development of the accommodation industry in this region.First of all,literature research and investigation methods are adopted to understand the development of ice and snow tourism in Chongli,Zhangjiakou,and to refer to and comprehensively analyze relevant literature and materials of ice and snow tourism destinations,preferred behaviors and data analysis methods,analyze relevant concepts and theories,learn data mining and analysis techniques,sort out research ideas and select appropriate research methods.Through the inquiry of the major accommodation booking platforms,the general situation of the accommodation industry in Chongli,Zhangjiakou was understood,and the characteristic information of the accommodation industry,such as the location,service and facilities,as well as the tourist comment data were collected to obtain the data for this study.Secondly,the quantitative research method is used to make statistics on the characteristic distribution of the current accommodation industry merchants,and the characteristic information of the accommodation industry merchants is combined with the tourist comment data.The association rules are used to analyze the characteristic selection preference,the tourist comment text is used to analyze the concern preference,and the time series is used to analyze the accommodation quantity trend and seasonality,so as to obtain the tourist accommodation preference.The analysis results show that there is a deviation between the number of current merchant characteristics and tourists’ choice preference.Tourists pay more attention to accommodation,but mainly focus on services,facilities,snow and ice tourism and other aspects;The seasonal regularity of tourist accommodation is obvious,so the accommodation industry needs to pay more attention to the service of tourists in the snow season.Tourists prefer to participate in snow and ice tourism activities;Other destinations are less attractive to tourists.Finally,by analyzing the characteristics and existing problems of tourists’ accommodation preference and combining with the current situation of the distribution of the characteristics of the accommodation industry,suggestions are put forward for the improvement and development of the supply quality of the accommodation industry in Chongli,Zhangjiakou.Merchants need to pay more attention to tourists according to their attention trend and emotional attention preference;Merchants can arrange operation according to the seasonal rules of tourist accommodation;Merchants need to provide more quality services for visitors participating in snow and ice activities;We will strengthen the publicity of other tourist spots besides ice and snow tourist spots. |
