| With the acceleration of industrialization, informationization and urbanization, great changes have taken place in the structure of economic growth in recent years. In the production structure, the proportion of the primary and secondary industries decreased significantly, while the proportion of the tertiary industry increased significantly and played an increasingly important role in the economic development, gradually forming a trend of spatial agglomeration development, and the economic effect became more and more obvious.Tibet Autonomous Region is located in the western frontier of China, where the foundation of the primary and secondary industries is weak and the space for development is limited.By contrast, the tertiary industry has relatively high development potential.Under the background of the national economic restructuring and upgrading, promoting the development of the tertiary industry is in line with the implementation of the 14th Five-Year development Plan of Tibet Autonomous Region under its special historical and geographical environment:Optimization of industrial spatial layout, development and growth of emerging industries realistic requirements. This thesis takes the tertiary industry data of Tibet Autonomous Region from 2001 to 2020 as the sample to construct time series data, and selects GDP growth as the explained variable, the tertiary industry concentration degree of Tibet Autonomous Region as the explanatory variable, and the government intervention degree, investment quota, labor employment and population growth rate as the control variable to study the relationship between the tertiary industry concentration degree and regional economic growth. The degree of tertiary industry agglomeration is calculated by location entropy. At the same time, taking the data of the Tibet Autonomous Region from 2001 to 2020 as samples, the number of employees in the tertiary industry of the Tibet Autonomous Region is selected as the explained variable, and the level of economic development, infrastructure construction, urbanization, human capital, financial development and fiscal expenditure are selected as explanatory variables to explore the causes of the tertiary industry agglomeration in the Tibet Autonomous Region. The results of this study are as follows:The tertiary industry agglomeration in Tibet Autonomous Region has a significant positive impact on regional economic growth, and there is an inverted"U" shaped relationship. It shows that the tertiary industry agglomeration in Tibet Autonomous Region has a significant positive effect on economic growth in the early stage, but in the late stage, the tertiary industry agglomeration has a negative effect on economic growth. From the perspective of control variables, population growth rate has a significant positive impact on economic growth, while government intervention has a significant negative impact on economic growth. The amount of labor employment and the level of investment have no significant influence on economic growth.Six variables, namely economic development level, infrastructure construction, urbanization level, human capital, financial development level and fiscal expenditure, all have positive effects on the tertiary industry agglomeration in Tibet Autonomous Region. The influence degree of each variable on the tertiary industry agglomeration in Tibet Autonomous Region from high to low is ranked as economic development level, human capital, fiscal expenditure, financial development level, urbanization level and infrastructure construction. Finally, according to the actual situation of Tibet Autonomous Region, this thesis starts from the perspectives of accelerating the agglomeration development of producer and consumer services, promoting regional economic development, attaching importance to the improvement of talent training mechanism, perfecting government functions, balancing the relationship between government and market, increasing investment in infrastructure, and promoting the improvement of urbanization level.Put forward the policy suggestion to promote the development of tertiary industry agglomeration in Tibet Autonomous Region. |
