The tertiary industry in Middle region, no matter what kind it is, traditional industryor new industry, life-serving industry or production-serving industry, has developedrapidly With development of economy and improvement of people's life since the reformand open to the outside world. However, compared with tertiary industry in the easternregion or in the whole country, the tertiary industry in Middle region is still backward.Backwardness of the tertiary industry sets limits to progress of industrialization inMiddle region and has a negative impact on the rise of Middle region.
