Rural infrastructure is the key factor for the strong and prosperous development of rural areas,and is a strong support for the multi-dimensional and multi-level development of rural areas,which can effectively promote the development of rural economy.In recent years,with the focus of the central and local governments on rural development,especially the investment and supervision of rural infrastructure construction,the level of infrastructure construction in various rural areas in China has been greatly improved on the whole,and can increasingly meet the needs of farmers.In order to further improve the level of rural infrastructure construction in Wenjiang District,Chengdu,improve the satisfaction of local farmers,provide theoretical basis for the government to formulate relevant policies,and also have important theoretical and practical significance for promoting the integrated development of urban and rural areas in Sichuan Province and achieving rural revitalization.This paper takes farmers in rural areas of Wenjiang District and the current situation of local infrastructure construction as the research object,obtains the current situation of local rural infrastructure construction through document policy sorting,field visits and questionnaire distribution,and conducts an empirical study on the current situation of rural infrastructure construction,farmers’ satisfaction and farmers’ needs in Wenjiang District,Chengdu,using descriptive analysis,principal component analysis and binary logistic regression model.This paper draws the following conclusions through research: At first,farmers in Wenjiang District are highly satisfied with the current situation of the overall rural infrastructure construction;Secondly,compared with Xingfu Village,Shiniu Village has better infrastructure construction and higher satisfaction of local farmers;Third,farmers in Wenjiang District believe that the key points of rural infrastructure construction are facility quality,government investment and talent training;The top three rural infrastructure that farmers in Wenjiang District think urgently need to be improved are household toilets,medical facilities and new infrastructure.Fourth,the results of Logistic regression show that in terms of individual characteristics of farmers,the factors that affect farmers’ satisfaction include farmers’ age,the time of living in a year,the total number of family population,gender and industry;In terms of infrastructure construction,farmers are highly satisfied with the construction of productive infrastructure.In terms of the construction of living,environmental health and social development infrastructure,the current situation of local gas facilities,logistics network facilities,information networks,medical facilities,cultural and educational facilities,water and electricity facilities,greening construction and garbage disposal has a significant impact on the satisfaction of farmers in Wenjiang District.Finally,based on the satisfaction of farmers in Wenjiang District and in combination with the current situation of rural infrastructure development in Wenjiang District,this paper puts forward four suggestions that the local government should actually increase investment and give consideration to efficiency,build a balanced mechanism for urban and rural infrastructure supply,strengthen the evaluation and assessment of government objectives,incorporate farmers’ satisfaction into the performance evaluation system,strengthen publicity,and improve farmers’ participation,To further improve the rural infrastructure construction in Wenjiang District,improve farmers’ satisfaction,and promote the coordinated development of urban and rural areas.
