Melon as the characteristics of agricultural products in Xinjiang, have long been valued parts of Xinjiang, and expanding planting, melon from the total area under cultivation 70,600 hectares in 2005 to 136,400 hectares in 2013, accounting for Xinjiang crops 2.62% of the total sown area. Especially in eastern Xinjiang Hami, Turpan Regional and Kashi in southern Xinjiang region, the total acreage sown larger proportion of farmers' income has become the dominant industry.Taking Turpan melon-growing farmers, for example, from the perspective of the needs of farmers melon production technology, based on the organization of farmers planting melon satisfaction Serves notion, Logistic regression model based on seed technology to increase production, improve quality seed technology and pest control techniques, abridged efficient cultivation techniques, labor and machinery fertilizer technology and management techniques, storage and processing technology needs and satisfaction were analyzed. The results show that: the head of household ethnicity, education level, household income, planting varieties, sowing methods, participate in technical training, participate in cooperatives and technology access to information is a major factor affecting household technology needs, the model has a significant correlation; headed by gender, age of household head, plant varieties, planting revenue accounted for the proportion of household income, and participate in technical training for farmers cooperatives to participate in technical satisfaction main factors.
