China’s agricultural production is in a critical period of change and transformation. As an indispensable means of modern agricultural production, technological innovation not only plays a key role in promoting the efficiency of agricultural production in the past, present and future, but also is an important means for the country to achieve high-quality and sustainable development of agriculture as a whole. The researchers found that in the process of actively promoting high-quality agricultural development,my country’s basic agricultural situation is and has been in the development stage of “big country and small farmers” for a long time, and the form of agricultural technology promotion is still severe. As the final adopters and decision makers of agricultural technology and production methods, small farmers are affected by factors such as policy, economy and culture, and their willingness to adopt shows obvious regional differences. The research shows that the adjustment of market allocation and policy structure will lead to changes in farmers’ relationship network and production factors, which will have a greater impact on farmers’ technology adoption behavior.Since the impact of the external environment of farmers on farmers’ willingness to adopt new technologies has direct practical significance,it is particularly important to pay attention to the role of farmers’ own resource endowments in consideration of the reality of my country’s "big country and small farmers”.In order to deeply explore the internal mechanism between farmers’ resource endowment and technology adoption,a series of research on farmers’ willingness to adopt technology were conducted based on the social capital in the internal environment of farmers and the demographic changes in the external environment. The world believes that the adoption of agricultural technology will be affected to varying degrees by the internal environment and external environment of farmers’ resource endowment, which will lead to decision-making behavior. Then, select the social capital in the internal environment of farmers to explore the behavior mechanism that affects the willingness of farmers to adopt technology and the moderating effect of population change in the external environment on the adoption of agricultural technology by farmers.Through the answers to this series of questions,we can gain a deeper understanding of the multi-dimensional resource endowment that affects the actual life of farmers, and on this basis provide scientific decisionmaking basis for the government to formulate reasonable technology promotion policies and build an efficient connection system between farmers and new agricultural technologies.Based on the micro-perspective of farmers’ technology adoption, this paper takes social capital as the interest subject of farmers’ decision-making behavior through the organic connection of social capital theory and farmers’ behavior theory.Using more than 20,000 households in more than 400 villages(residential areas)in 28 provinces in the China Labor Force Dynamics Survey(CLDS)as research samples, this paper explores the agricultural technology adoption behavior of farmers with the theme of multidimensional heterogeneity of social capital and population change.First of all,by summarizing relevant literature, works and documents,an in-depth analysis and sorting out of the internal mechanism, advantages, methods and methods of the organic connection between the current social capital and the adoption of new agricultural technologies by farmers.Secondly, based on the field survey data of 28 provinces, under the background of labor force transfer, combined with the social capital theory and the theory of farmers’ behavior, this paper conducts a theoretical analysis on the overall situation and existing problems of social capital, population change perspective, and farmers’ technology adoption, and draws conclusions.assumption.In addition,Stata,Spss and other data processing tools are used for reliability and validity testing, multiple regression, and principal component analysis to provide data support for the research hypotheses formulated above. The software can scientifically and effectively statistically analyze multi-category and multidimensional field survey data in linear and nonlinear research and obtain key factors that affect farmers’ willingness to adopt new agricultural technologies. Finally, based on the results of the previous empirical analysis and combined with the current situation of regional development in my country, corresponding policy suggestions are put forward, which is convenient for decision makers to formulate effective ways to promote the development of agricultural modernization and high-quality agricultural development. The results show that:(1)Social trust has a significant positive impact on farmers’ willingness to adopt new agricultural technologies, while social participation has no significant effect on farmers’ willingness to adopt new agricultural technologies.(2)There are differences in the influence of social network on farmers’ technology adoption behavior, that is,the scope of farmers’ relatives’ wedding gifts has a significant and positive impact on farmers’ technology adoption behavior, while the scope of non-relatives’ wedding gifts has no significant impact on farmers’ technology adoption behavior.(3)The number of household registration changes plays a moderating role in the influence of social capital on farmers’ willingness to adopt new agricultural technologies. That is to say,the more the number of household registration changes, the lower the promotion effect of social capital on farmers’ willingness to adopt agricultural technology.(4)In the eastern and central regions, social capital has a significant positive effect on the adoption of new agricultural technologies by farmers;in the western region, social capital has a significant negative effect on the adoption of new agricultural technologies by farmers;in the northeastern region, social capital has a significant The adoption of new agricultural technologies by farmers has no significant effect.
