With the rapid development of global economic integration,diversified and personalized products have become the mainstream of market demand.The frequent changes of product categories have brought new challenges to the production and operation of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises.Most of the products undertaken by Cornell have the characteristics of multi variety and small batch production.The similarity of part structure and process flow is not considered in the production of parts,and the process and standardization of process chain sequencing are lacking,resulting in a series of problems such as long production cycle,low processing efficiency,high logistics cost,and complex organization and management.Therefore,effectively optimizing the process flow and facility layout of multi variety and small batch production workshops,maximizing the logistics cost of enterprises and improving production efficiency will be the problems faced by many small and medium-sized production enterprises and urgently needed to be solved.To solve the above problems,this paper will take group technology as the starting point,combined with SLP method to optimize the layout of manufacturing workshop facilities.First of all,based on the application and development of g roup technology in the processing of multi variety and small batch products,the production process analysis method is used to carry out the research on group technology of parts according to their structure,process flow similarity,etc.,and the parts ar e classified into groups to form part families.Secondly,the compound process route method is used to optimize the processing process of each group,and the number of equipment required by each group is calculated according to the output and output man ho urs of each group,and the workshop group production unit is planned.Finally,the SLP method is applied to the company’s production workshop layout transformation project.With the goal of maximizing the comprehensive relevance of each operation unit and minimizing the material handling cost,the relationship between the material flow among the operation units is analyzed,and the comprehensive relevance of each operation unit is determined.The level of comprehensive interaction is divided by the closenes s of each operation unit in the processing workshop,SLP method is used to optimize the layout of group processing cells in the production workshop,and the production layout optimization scheme is determined.This paper provides some basic research ideas for the workshop equipment layout of production enterprises under the mode of multi variety and small batch,and provides method support for effectively improving frequent job conversion and increasing equipment productivity.Through qualitative analysis a nd quantitative analysis,the expected benefits of the whole scheme are verified,so that the process types are greatly reduced,the production cycle is greatly shortened,and the production efficiency and processing quality of parts are rapidly improved.
