| With the rapid development of digital economy,"digital agriculture" emerges as the times require.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping has made important discussions and clear requirements on the construction of digital China, and in the 20 th report of the Party has made new arrangements and new requirements for the construction of digital China, stressing the need to promote the development of "digital economy" and accelerate the construction of "digital China".Digital agriculture is an inevitable trend for the future development of China and an important part of "Digital China".So the development of digital agriculture is an inevitable requirement as information technology advances to a new stage of big data, and is also an urgent need to occupy the high ground of agricultural and rural modernization, and a realistic choice to promote the development of agricultural and rural information technology in an innovative way. This thesis makes a scientific quantitative evaluation and spatiotemporal evolution analysis of the competitiveness of digital agriculture in our country, which is helpful to grasp the present situation, spatiotemporal evolution and future development trend of our country’s digital agriculture in a comprehensive way,and provides the necessary basis for the rational allocation and optimal spatial layout of digital agricultural resources and elements. At the same time,it hopes to provide a reference point for the development of relevant policies, provide a theoretical basis for the government to carry out more targeted follow-up work and more efficient regulation of agricultural economic development,so as to promote the future development of modern agriculture to a certain extent. This thesis aims to measure the competitiveness of digital agriculture.First of all,we need to have a deep understanding of the related concepts and models.Based on the existing literature,we analyze the "digital agriculture" and "industrial competitiveness".Secondly, according to its concept definition, the competitiveness of digital agriculture is divided into two dimensions: basic competitiveness and digital competitiveness, and a comprehensive evaluation index system of the competitiveness of digital agriculture is established from five aspects, namely, agricultural production factors, agricultural output benefits, agricultural online sales level, digital infrastructure and digital technical resources,in accordance with the principles of comprehensiveness, availability and objectivity.Using entropy weight-topsis method to calculate the comprehensive score of competitiveness, this thesis analyzes the development level of competitiveness of digital agriculture in each region. The exploratory spatial data analysis(ESDA)method is then used to explore the temporal evolutionary trends and spatial variation patterns of digital agriculture competitiveness in China. Finally, this thesis selects the sample data of 31 provinces and uses the spatial econometrics method to analyze the influencing factors of our country’s digital agriculture competitiveness. The results of the study are as follows: First, from a national perspective, the overall development of digital agriculture competitiveness has been improved. From the regional perspective, the overall pattern of eastern strength, middle and western weakness and regional imbalance is difficult to change. From the perspective of provincial level,31 provinces have obvious imbalance and regional characteristics;Secondly,in 2015-2021,the competitiveness of our country’s digital agriculture presents a fluctuating growth trend. From various dimensions, the competitiveness score of agricultural production factor dimension increases most slowly and steadily;Thirdly, the development of digital agriculture in China’s provinces is characterized by significant spatial differentiation, with its development level showing an obvious "East-West" distribution pattern from high to low,in addition, the local spatial agglomeration pattern shows strong stability and spatial dependence characteristics, and there is an obvious positive spatial autocorrelation among the competitiveness of digital agriculture in each province;Fourth, the level of economic development, collective economy, intelligent monitoring, science and technology, and business innovation all have a significant positive impact on the competitiveness of digital agriculture. Moreover, this level of competitiveness is not only affected by the local area, but also by the neighboring provinces and cities, which has a spatial spillover effect. |
