With the market competition of China’s construction enterprises becoming increasingly hot,many project construction enterprises in China have attached importance to the performance evaluation of project engineering managers,trying to effectively mobilize the motivation and enthusiasm of project engineering managers through effective performance evaluation of project engineering managers.In the current situation,more large-scale construction enterprises in China can evaluate the performance of project engineering managers from qualitative and quantitative perspectives.However,it is still necessary to see that there are some problems in the performance assessment objectives,assessment methods,assessment processes and assessment guarantees when some of the construction enterprises in China are carrying out the performance assessment of project engineering managers.This not only greatly reduces the effectiveness of the performance appraisal work of project engineering managers in construction enterprises,but also is not conducive to linking the performance management work with the strategic management of the enterprise.In view of this,this thesis selects company A as the research object and conducts a study on the performance management of project engineering managers in company A.The core research content is divided into three parts as follows The core research content is divided into the following three parts.First,the current situation of the performance management system of project engineering managers in Company A is analyzed.Sort out the current work of the company in the performance assessment objectives,performance assessment indexes of the election performance assessment indexes,scoring standards,assessment subject selection and assessment cycle,performance assessment implementation process and other aspects.Second,analyze the performance management problems of project engineering managers in Company A.Use the questionnaire research method to systematically identify the main problems and causes of the problems that exist in the current performance management of project engineering managers of Company A in terms of assessment index design,assessment subject,assessment cycle,assessment feedback,assessment system construction,etc.Thirdly,the optimization plan and guarantee measures for the performance management of project engineering management personnel of Company A were designed.On the basis of clear performance management optimization objectives and principles,the optimization measures of performance management are constructed from five aspects: optimization of assessment subject,optimization of assessment index,optimization of assessment standard,optimization of assessment cycle,and strengthening of assessment feedback,and the guarantee strategies of performance management optimization are targeted.The relevant findings of this thesis not only help to further enrich and expand the depth and breadth of application of classical performance management theory in the performance appraisal of project engineering managers,but also help to guide the same type of construction enterprises in China to scientifically carry out appraisal work for the performance of project engineering managers.
