With the deepening of financial system reform and increasingly fierce market competition,China’s commercial banks have transformed,vigorously developing economies of scale,economies of scope of products,developing various charging products,developing diversified market strategies,and strengthening institutions.However,due to various reasons,the job positions in China’s commercial banks are currently too complex,making it difficult to distinguish the core functions of each position.There is a lack of unified job staffing and grading mechanisms,and institutional management personnel are too complex.At the same time,there are also multiple performance evaluation systems within the same bank,with incomplete operating mechanisms,lagging support measures,and weak work performance awareness among employees,especially in the position of customer managers who create benefits in the bank.Poor communication between managers and customer managers results in the inability to achieve the final results of performance management,and even significant differences.Therefore,the incentive effect on customer managers will be greatly reduced.In such an environment,Chinese commercial banks should actively adjust their strategic goals,continuously improve their performance management system,and strengthen their emphasis on the career planning and development of customer managers.In addition,the internal performance management system of banks should be guided by organizational development strategies and must organically integrate the performance of organizations,departments,and individuals to achieve the strategic goals of the organization.This thesis takes the performance management system of customer managers in X Rural Commercial Bank as the research object.Starting from the basic principles of performance management,it uses indicator management,key performance indicators,and balanced scorecard to conduct in-depth discussions.Based on issues such as insufficient personalization of performance evaluation,inadequate use of performance evaluation results,and imperfect organizational systems for performance management,it uses a strategy based performance evaluation system,We adopted a balanced scorecard and core performance evaluation method,and conducted research based on the job characteristics of customer managers;And discuss the performance target system,performance management process,performance management system,etc;The performance evaluation mechanism of the enterprise has been improved.Through performance adjustment,ma Ximize the use of their own effectiveness to achieve the strategic objectives of commercial bank development.This system can effectively improve the work performance of X Rural Commercial Bank’s customer managers,promote X Rural Commercial Bank’s management efficiency and transformation development,and provide reference for supplementing and improving the performance management systems of similar banks.
