Analysis On The Impact Of The Improvement Of Traffic Infrastructure On The High-quality Development Of Agriculture In Shunde District

The No.1 Document of the Central Committee in 2022 proposed to comprehensively promote rural revitalization,promote new progress in rural revitalization,and take new steps in agricultural and rural modernization,emphasizing the need to adhere to the general tone of seeking progress while maintaining stability and promote high-quality development.At present,China’s agricultural development has a considerable scale,but there are still problems such as extensive production methods,low technology,low efficiency of unit land production,inadequate protection of cultivated land,and insufficient guidance of new development concepts on agriculture.Therefore,high-quality agricultural development has become a focus of current attention.As the social first capital,transportation infrastructure plays an important basic and leading role in economic and social development,while agriculture is the foundation of China’s economic development.Transportation infrastructure provides the foundation and guarantee for agricultural development,and is also an important means and tool to promote high-quality agricultural development.In 2019,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the Outline of the Development Plan for the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area,proposing to build an international first-class bay area and a world-class urban agglomeration.Shunde District urgently needs to seize the important opportunity of the country’s construction of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area and build a high-quality development pilot area for the Greater Bay Area.Based on the relevant data of Shunde District,Guangdong Province from 2011 to2020,combined with the research of relevant scholars,this paper uses entropy weight method and comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate the high-quality agricultural development in Shunde District,and then uses Tobit model and DIF-GMM model to analyze the impact of traffic infrastructure improvement on the high-quality agricultural development in Shunde District from both static and dynamic aspects,and puts forward corresponding suggestions.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The development of traffic infrastructure in Shunde District has been saturated.The traffic infrastructure in Shunde District mainly consists of water and land roads.From the perspective of traffic infrastructure investment,the amount of traffic infrastructure investment in Shunde District shows a tortuous development trend,but it is still on the rise as a whole;The development trend of highway mileage and road network density is the same,showing an upward trend except in special years.(2)Although the agricultural development in Shunde District has twists and turns,the overall trend is still upward.From the perspective of the total output value of agriculture,forestry,animal husbandry and fishery,the total output value of agriculture,forestry,animal husbandry and fishery in Shunde District has shown a zigzag upward trend.From the perspective of output value,the change of agricultural gross output value is relatively small,but it has increased significantly in 2020;The total output value of forestry is relatively low,showing a trend of tortuous decline;The total output value of animal husbandry showed a trend of rising first and then falling,but the fluctuation was relatively small;The total output value of fishery industry showed a tortuous upward trend,and the overall development momentum was good.(3)Shunde District has a relatively high level of high-quality agricultural development during the survey period,but there are still deficiencies in agricultural productivity.Shunde District,Shunde District has a high score in the level of high-quality agricultural development,showing a downward trend.In terms of indicators at all levels,the score of chemical utilization is significantly higher than that of other indicators,followed by coordinated development and modernization,and agricultural productivity is the lowest.(4)The improvement of transportation infrastructure has a significant role in promoting the high-quality development of agriculture in Shunde District.Among the control variables,the per capita regional gross output value,financial support and power facilities have significant positive effects,while the positive effects of water conservancy facilities are not significant,while urbanization has a significant role in promoting.From a dynamic perspective,it can be found that the improvement of transportation infrastructure still has a significant role in promoting the high-quality agricultural development in Shunde District,and the impact of other variables is consistent with that of Tobit model.Only water conservancy facilities show a significant negative impact.Based on the above conclusions,the following suggestions are put forward:(1)Adjust the agricultural industrial structure and develop diversified agriculture together;(2)Scientifically plan the comprehensive system of transportation network and improve the quality of operation and management;(3)Implement the concept of coordinated development and promote the optimization of economic structure.
