| At present,China is in an important stage of adjustment and transformation.Logistics industry is an important link in the tertiary service industry, and its aggregation will make the economy, knowledge and technology spill out,and can the spillover of these factors promote the optimization of industrial structure? Does the agglomeration of logistics industry have different degrees of impact on the industrial structure of different regions? The construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area continues and has made good progress. It has now become a bridgehead for China’s economic development and one of the model regions for China’s high-quality development in the future, which makes the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area occupy a very important position at the regional level in China.Logistics is an important foundation and driver of national economic development, and the development of logistics is the key to promoting regional economic development.Various industries in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, including the logistics industry, are showing good development. This paper provides an in-depth discussion on the role of logistics industry clustering in regional industrial structure optimization in Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area, which is of great theoretical and practical significance to the support and leadership role of the Greater Bay Area in the national economic development. This paper elaborates the background and significance of the study, sorts out the domestic and foreign dynamics;based on external economic theory, competitive advantage theory and industrial location theory,it analyzes the mechanism of the influence of logistics industry agglomeration on industrial structure optimization from knowledge spillover mechanism, competitive innovation mechanism, industrial division of labor and collaboration mechanism and value chain perfection mechanism;then analyzes the current situation of logistics industry agglomeration and industrial structure in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Then, the current situation of logistics industry agglomeration and industrial structure in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is analyzed and measured respectively, and the logistics industry agglomeration index is obtained by constructing a comprehensive index system, using the entropy value method, and the industrial structure optimization index is obtained by using the coefficient of variation method;then, the impact analysis of logistics industry agglomeration on industrial structure optimization in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is empirically demonstrated, and the tests of smoothness, robustness, heterogeneity and intermediary effect are passed;finally, relevant countermeasures are proposed according to the conclusions. The main conclusions are as follows.1.In general, logistics industry agglomeration has a significant positive effect on the optimization of industrial structure in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Great Bay Area, but its influence on the optimization of industrial structure in different cities in the region differs to different degrees.2.The phenomenon of logistics industry clustering in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, while positively optimizing the enhancement of its industrial structure,is a part of the mediating effect, mainly brought about by the level of human capital and technological innovation. As the logistics industry forms a cluster in the region, the level of human capital and technological innovation capacity within this cluster are enhanced accordingly, and since human capital and technology have externalities, they will spill out to produce the spillover effects of human and technology, thus jointly promoting the optimization and upgrading of the regional industrial structure.3.The industrial structure upgrading index of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area shows a more obvious growth trend during 2000-2020,and the industrial structure upgrading index of each region has the spatial characteristics of aggregation and non-uniformity,among which Guangzhou,Shenzhen,Hong Kong,Macao and other cities with more developed economic development have a higher industrial upgrading index and the overall leading trend has not changed, while the remaining seven cities in the Pearl River Delta industrial structure upgrading index is relatively low.4.Human capital, technological innovation, government policies all contribute to the optimized development of industrial structure in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and corresponding investment can continue to be increased in the future to better promote industrial restructuring and coordinated and efficient economic development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. |
