| Against the backdrop of the world epidemic and the global economic downturn, the total import and export volume of service trade of all countries in the world has increased from5,313,976 million US dollars in 2005 to 11,695,091 million US dollars in 2021.The status of service trade in world trade has been rising, and it has gradually become a new engine for national economic growth. As an important industry sector of world service trade, tourism service trade accounts for about 10% of world service trade.Under the impact of the epidemic,we will stimulate the rapid development of the digital economy, promote the deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy, and form digital industrial clusters with international competitiveness.Tourism service trade is a comprehensive industry, and its development provides a large number of jobs for the country. In recent years, the tourism service trade of RCEP member countries has a large scale, and the overall tourism service trade is in a balanced development stage, with certain competitive advantages, but compared with the European and American tourism countries, they still lack international competitive advantages. Therefore, taking the current situation of tourism service trade in RCEP countries as the entry point and combining with the measurement results of trade competitiveness indicators,we can have a more accurate understanding of the international competitiveness of tourism service trade in RCEP member countries.Through further empirical analysis of the influencing factors of the international competitiveness of tourism service trade of RCEP member countries, this paper puts forward practical countermeasures for reference to improve the international competitiveness level of tourism service trade of RCEP member countries, which is of great practical significance to promote the high-quality development of service trade of RCEP member countries.Based on the research on the status quo of tourism service trade in RCEP member countries, this paper analyzes the import and export volume of tourism service trade, the status quo of inbound tourism, related supporting industries, the level of openness and other aspects with the help of chart data.It is found that the development of tourism service trade in RCEP member countries depends on the level of national economic development, and the overall scale of tourism service is expanding year by year. The proportion of service trade and total trade is stable. The growth rates of imports and exports do not match, resulting in a trade deficit, but the overall trade potential is large. At the same time, the inbound tourism of RCEP member countries has been developing steadily, and air transport, accommodation, travel agencies and other related supporting industries have provided industrial support for the development of tourism service trade. The overall tourism service trade is at a high level of openness and is closely connected with the world tourism market, which indirectly indicates that RCEP member countries have competitive advantages in tourism service trade. Then, the trade competitiveness index is used to measure the international competitiveness of tourism service trade of RCEP member countries, and the comprehensive analysis shows that the overall tourism service trade of RCEP member countries has a certain international competitiveness.Based on the theory of national competitive advantage, this paper empirically analyzes the influencing factors of the international competitiveness of tourism service trade of RCEP member countries, conducts relevant data test, and finds out the relationship between the influencing factors and the international competitiveness of tourism service trade of RCEP member countries. The research results show that in the evaluation index calculation of international competitiveness of tourism service trade,it is concluded that RCEP tourism service trade has medium competitiveness, weak competitive advantage and certain comparative advantage through IMS index,RCA index,TC index and CA index. The comprehensive comparison shows that the international competitiveness of tourism service trade of RCEP member countries has great potential to improve as a whole.Through the empirical analysis of national competitive advantage theory,it is concluded that GDP per capita, inbound tourist number, air transport passenger volume and tourism trade openness have a significant positive correlation with the international competitiveness of tourism service trade, while the urbanization rate has a negative correlation, and the correlation is not significant.Based on the analysis of the current situation and influencing factors, this paper puts forward four targeted suggestions, including expanding the import and export scale of tourism services trade, driving the growth of inbound tourism services trade, extending the supporting industry chain of tourism services trade, and improving the openness level of tourism services trade, which provides a reference direction for the improvement of the international competitiveness of tourism services trade of RCEP member countries. |
