| To achieve long-term innovation development,improving employee inn ovation performance is an effective approach for enterprises.Consequently,enhancing employee innovation performance has been a popular research issue for both scholars and business leaders.Studies by domestic and foreign scholars have shown that leaders hip styles have an impact on employee innovation performance.However,there exist variations in the extent and scope of research on the specific influence of different leadership styles on performance.In particular,the impact of platform leadership on e mployee innovation performance remains unclear and lacks systematic investigation.Additionally,in the current era,digital information technology plays a crucial role in driving the global economy,companies must continuously innovate and achieve long-term development.In this context,employee creative behavior has become an important and indispensable part of the company.This paper incorporates social information p rocessing theory and social exchange theory,along with long-term orientation and superior-subordinate guanxi into the research model as mediator and moderator variables.The objective is to establish a regulated intermediary model that explores the impact of these variables on the relationship between platform leadership and employee innovation performance.The study conducts an in-depth discussion of this relationship,using statistical analysis software SPSS 26.0 and Amos 24.0 to conduct descriptive analysis,reliability analysis,correlation analysis,and hypothesis testing on a sample of 337 participations.The research results demonstrate the following:(1)platform leadership has a significant positive impact on employee innovation performance;(2)Platform leadership has a positive effect on long-term orientation,long-term orientation has a positive and significant effect on employee innovation performance,and long-term orientation has a significant partial mediation effect on the relationship between platform leadership and employee innovation performance;(3)the superior-subordinate relationship plays a positive regulatory role in the process of platform leadership promoting long-term orientation.This relationship positively regulates the indirect role of platform leadership in promoting employee innovation performance through long-term orientation through a moderated intermediary effect.Based on the conclusions drawn from this study,the following management recommendations is as follows:(1)Enter prises should reinforce platform leadership style to inject "platform" power into the lo ng-term innovation and development of the company;(2)Pay attention to the long-term orientation of employees.Under the background of platform leaders,enterprises should focus on respecting leaders and establishing long-term awareness to greatly improve employee innovation performance;(3)Optimize the relationship between superiors and subordinates within the enterprise.Under the role of platform leaders,employees with high-quality superior-subordinate relationships can often rely on the resource support provided by the leader to establish a long-term awareness of promoting their own development,thereby promoting the generation,promotion and implementation of employ ee ideas,in order to enhance employee innovation performance.The empirical findings presented in this paper represent preliminary research in the following three aspects:(1)Through the empirical testing of platform leadership and employee innovation performance,the study expands the research on the role of platform leadership within the Chinese management context.The results of this research provide an effective method to improve the innovation performance of employees,thereby enhancing the long-term innovation ability of enterprises;(2)The empirical results of this study further verify the application of platform leadership theory in reality,which may be useful for follow-up research at different level;(3)By employing moderated intermediary models and conducting empirical analysis of sample data from multiple regions,this study verif ies the mediation role of long-term orientation and the moderating role of superior-subordinate relations.As a result,the conclusions drawn from this research are uni versal and can serve as a valuable reference for subsequent related research. |
