A large number of studies have shown that ethical leadership is good for organizations and employees.Unfortunately, compared to the consequences, researchers pay less attention to the antecedents of ethical leadership.Scholars have pointed out that the perception of subordinates is an important factor in determining whether a leader is ethical or not.Based on the characteristics of Chinese organizations, this study focuses on the influence of superior-subordinate guanxi and abusive supervision on subordinate's perception of ethical leadership.Besides that, the perceived superior support also pays a role in it.Two studies are included in this research.Study 1 has conducted a questionnaire among 212 employees in two time points, and study 2 has conducted a questionnaire among 291 employees in two time points.Through the analysis of the data, following conclusions are drawn:(1)The superior-subordinate guanxi has a significant positive influence on subordinate's perception of ethical leadership;(2)Perceived superior support plays a mediating role between superior-subordinate guanxi and subordinate's perception of ethical leadership.(3)Abuse supervision(own abusive supervision, peer abusive supervision)has a significant negative influence on subordinate's perception of ethical leadership;(4)Perceived superior support moderates the relationship between abusive management(own abusive supervision, peer abusive supervision)and subordinate's perception of ethical leadership. Finally, the research results are be discussed and summarized.
