With the transformation of traditional automobiles into intelligent ones,automotive electronics has become a core component in the development process of the whole vehicle,and the proportion of software in automotive electronics continues to rise.Compared with traditional automotive electronic products,software development has a higher workload,higher development requirements and faster time,so it has higher requirements for project management.In the traditional project management process of automotive electronic products,factors such as large documentation workload,long delivery time and serious personnel changes are involved,all of which affect the speed and quality of product development and can no longer meet the product development requirements.In this paper,by reviewing previous research results,we study how Company D can cope with the changes of new business from the perspective of project management improvement on this basis.At the same time,by introducing the more mature agile project management model in the Internet industry to guide the project management activities of Company D’s automotive electronic products,in order to promote efficient cooperation of project teams and form a new set of project management methods,so as to improve the efficiency of Company D’s R&D management.This paper firstly describes the background and significance of the study,introduces the changes and impacts of the automotive electronics industry,and also describes the importance of project management on Company D’s automotive electronics,and finally clarifies the significance of the topic to Company D’s R&D management.Secondly,by reviewing the relevant literature at home and abroad,the current research progress of the latest agile project management theory and framework is identified,and then the analytical framework of this paper is determined.Third,the current background of Company D was introduced,the current situation of project management and product development in Company D was described,and then the characteristics of current automotive electronics projects in Company D were analyzed and the problems in traditional project management in Company D were summarized.Fourthly,we analyzed the problems in project management by interview method and questionnaire method to find the root cause of these problems.And by comparing and analyzing different project management models,project management improvement methods and tools were identified.Fifthly,according to the theory of agile model,the improvement plan was formulated in terms of R&D organization structure design and R&D activity design.Finally,through the trial run on the pilot project of Company D,the effectiveness of the new project management activities running on the project of Company D and the subsequent problems that need to be solved were determined,so as to improve the efficiency of product development in Company D to meet the changes in the automotive industry.
