With the rapid development of China’s economy in recent years,people’s income has been increasing,which has helped the rapid development of the retail industry.The commercial form of retail industry gradually develops from small stores to large stores and chain supermarkets,and the department store industry has entered the stage of prosperity and development.Shopping centers of different sizes have been built in cities to provide people with catering,shopping,leisure and entertainment services,forming a business circle centered around them.P Company is a leader in the department store and retail industry.Research on employee motivation of this group can analyze the problems existing in the development process of the company,and the analysis results are representative.Based on the case study of P company,the use of questionnaire investigation,literature analysis,depth interview method,etc,on the basis of research methods,in accordance with the basic theories of human resource management and the modern management theory and P company’s management present situation,combining with P company’s sales personnel staff as the main object of research and analysis,This paper makes a scientific and reasonable analysis of the current situation of P company’s sales staff compensation incentive.Through investigation and analysis,it is concluded that the following problems exist in P company’s employee compensation incentive system: first,the basic compensation level is low and lacks market competitiveness;Second,the level of performance pay is low and short of incentive for employees,and there are problems in performance appraisal system;Third,the compensation incentive is short of long-term incentive,and the incentive system is short of long-term strategic plan and staff training system;Fourth,employees lack the understanding of the corporate culture of salary incentive and lack of spiritual incentive.Combined with the actual situation,the reasons for the above problems are analyzed.Starting from the optimization and improvement of the compensation incentive system,the initiative and enthusiasm of employees are fully mobilized to solve the existing compensation incentive problems of P Company.Through the formulation of compensation incentive related optimization scheme suitable for P company,and then optimize and improve the compensation incentive mechanism of P company and similar companies like P Company,so that the enterprise has stronger market competitiveness.
