Study On The Evaluation And Influencing Factors Of Farmers’ Well-Being In Rural Tourism Scenic Spots In Yuexi County

The implementation of the rural vitalization strategy should take the interests of farmers as the leading role,and take the promotion of common prosperity of farmers as the starting point and goal,so that farmers can share the fruits of development and constantly improve their happiness.In this thesis,the happiness of rural farmers in Yuexi County rural tourism scenic spots is measured.The measured results can understand the happiness of local farmers and the quality of tourism development,and provide some reference for the local government in the implementation of subsequent policies.Exploring the relevant factors affecting the happiness of farmers in the scenic spot will provide practical guidance for the local tourism industry,which is conducive to the increase of farmers’ interests and the construction of a harmonious and beautiful scenic spot.At the same time,it will also provide a certain reference for regions with similar resources as Yuexi County.This thesis takes farmers in rural tourism scenic spots of Yuexi County as the research object,constructs an evaluation index of the happiness of farmers in rural tourism scenic spots of Yuexi County from five dimensions of economic status,ecological environment,government service,quality of life,and social culture.By investigating the happiness level of 335 farmers in scenic spots,the entropy method is used to comprehensively evaluate the happiness of farmers in scenic spots,and obtains the happiness index.The happiness index of farmers in scenic spots was taken as the explained variable,12 related factors were selected around the individual characteristics of farmers and family endowment as explanatory variables,and the bivariate Logit model was used to explore the impact of related factors on the happiness of farmers.The happiness index of farmers in scenic spots was calculated and factors affecting happiness level were analyzed.According to empirical results,the following conclusions were drawn:(1)The average happiness index of farmers in Yuexi County’s rural tourism scenic spots is 3.3461,which is between average happiness and relatively happiness.The overall happiness level is close to average happiness,and the happiness index still needs to be improved.Moreover,there is a large gap in happiness level among farmers,with the maximum value being 4.6056 and the minimum value being 1.3794.(2)The entropy method is used to determine the weights of all levels of indicators.The results show that: Firstly,from the perspective of the first-level indicators of the happiness of farmers in scenic spots,the weights rank successively as quality of life,economic status,government services,ecological environment,and social culture;secondly,the top two indicators in the second-level indicators are farmer’s income and farmer’s social security.(3)Among the individual characteristics of farmers and family endowment,eight variables that have a significant impact on the happiness of farmers in scenic spots are gender,age,marital status,physical health,distance between home and scenic spot,number of family labor force,whether engaged in tourism,and annual family income.However,the four variables,including education background,village leader or not,Party member or not,and cultivated land owned by family,have no significant impact on the happiness of farmers in scenic spots.(4)According to the results of empirical analysis,this thesis puts forward some suggestions to improve the happiness of farmers in Yuexi rural tourism scenic spots from the aspects of enhancing supporting services of farmers in scenic spots,broadening the income channels of farmers in scenic spots,enriching the sports and cultural activities of farmers in scenic spots,and improving the social security system of farmers in scenic spots.
