| Since 2015,China’s economic development has stepped into a new normal,with increasingly prominent constraints on resources and the environment,and rising labor and other factor costs.At the same time,the 20 th Party Congress report clearly sets the sustainable development of economy,environment and society as the key direction.Facing the huge pressure of transformation and upgrading and the significant change of social needs,how to make use of limited resources to better fulfill social responsibility while pursuing its own development is a hot topic that both theoretical and practical circles are focusing on.Based on strategic orientation,embedding corporate social responsibility into business model innovation is considered a feasible approach.Embedding social responsibility into business models,integrating social responsibility performance into corporate business operations,elevating social responsibility from passive compliance to strategic level,making it an important factor in obtaining competitive advantages and creating shared value.In addition,in recent years,the country has continuously deepened the reform of the pharmaceutical distribution system,requiring the pharmaceutical distribution industry to comprehensively improve the modernization level of pharmaceutical distribution,focus on solving the problems of pharmaceutical distribution system reform,and play a crucial supporting role in the development of China’s pharmaceutical and health industry and ensuring the health needs of the people.In this context,can pharmaceutical distribution enterprises embed social responsibility in their business models based on strategic orientation? How to embed and can it achieve certain positive results?Based on Jiuzhoutong’s strategic evolution,social responsibility implementation and business model innovation,this paper firstly portrays the evolutionary trajectory of social responsibility embedded in business model innovation based on strategic orientation,and then analyzes the evolution of social responsibility embedded in business model innovation based on the value network of business model in four dimensions: value proposition,value creation,value delivery and value capture.Finally,the balanced scorecard is selected as the measurement system to comprehensively evaluate the impact of social responsibility embedding on the strategic performance of enterprises.After theoretical analysis and case studies,this paper draws the following conclusions:(1)CSR embedding in business model is a process based on the orientation of strategic objectives,which gradually evolves from its periphery to the core.All four modules under the value network logic can realize the effective embedding of social responsibility;(3)CSR embedded in business model innovation is conducive to improving the strategic performance of enterprises and promoting the balance between economic and social benefits,short-term and long-term interests,and financial and non-financial performance of enterprises. |
