Abstract/Summary:
At present,with the progress of technology and the improvement of people’s living standards,the e-commerce industry is booming;at the same time,due to the lowering of the entry threshold for e-commerce enterprises and the serious phenomenon of homogenisation of goods,the e-commerce industry is also facing increased competition in the market during its operation.The intensification of competition between e-commerce enterprises has also brought greater work pressure to employees,long working hours,heavy workload,work pressure,etc.are the current work status of most small and medium-sized e-commerce enterprise employees.Excessive work pressure will bring distress to the work of employees,serious physical and mental health will be at risk.Employees living in a high-pressure environment for a long time will reduce the efficiency of their work,which in turn will affect the benign development of the enterprise.It is reported that X E-Commerce Limited has also experienced the problem of excessive work stress among its employees,which has brought negative impact on both the employees and the company and affected the normal operation and development of X E-Commerce.In order to effectively manage work stress among employees and reduce the negative effects brought about by excessive work stress among employees,this paper further grasps the current situation of work stress among employees,the current situation of stress management and the sources of work stress among employees by collating the research results on stress research,stress source research,stress management research and EAP projects at home and abroad,taking X E-Commerce Ltd as the research object.In the process of writing the thesis,a questionnaire on employee stress was purposefully designed and distributed to employees of X E-Commerce Co.,Ltd,supplemented by interviews with employees of different levels and departments,to conduct surveys and research on the work content and work stress of employees.According to the data and contents of the questionnaire and interviews,SPSS software was used to do correlation and regression analysis on employees’ perception of work stress and stress response,stress perception and stressors.It was found that employees’ perception of work stress was significantly correlated with personal health,personal work performance and willingness to leave the company.In terms of stressors,the six dimensions of work situation,company management,career development,organisational role,interpersonal relationship and family support showed significant correlations,and further regression analysis showed that the five dimensions of work situation,career development,organisational role,interpersonal relationship and family support significantly influenced the stress perception of X e-commerce employees.Combining the analysis of the questionnaire data and the actual situation of X e-commerce company,the necessity and feasibility of using EAP programme to manage employees’ work stress in X e-commerce company was analysed.The vision of improving employees’ enthusiasm for work,reducing their turnover rate,enhancing their productivity and promoting the company’s high-quality development is ultimately achieved.
