At present,the traditional family care model can no longer meet the actual demand for care services for the disabled elderly in Jinxian County,Nanchang City.Rural elderly people with disabilities are the most vulnerable group in China’s population structure,and there is still no sound long-term care protection system in China,so that the care needs of rural elderly people with disabilities cannot be fully and effectively realised.Based on specific field research data,this paper analyses the demand for care services for the disabled elderly in Jinxian County,Nanchang,through research data,and investigates the existing supply of care services for the disabled elderly in the area.Based on the research data and information,the research team identified the causes of the imbalance in the supply and demand of care services for the elderly in rural areas.The study found that the imbalance between the supply and demand of care services for the disabled elderly in rural areas of Jinxian County,Nanchang City,is mainly reflected in the imbalance between the material supply of care services and the needs of the elderly,the inadequate supply of differentiated service content,the misalignment of the supply of specialised care resources and the lack of intelligent supply of care services.After understanding the reasons for the imbalance between the supply and demand of care services for the disabled elderly in rural areas,the study proposes countermeasures for the supply of care services for the disabled elderly in rural areas of Jinxian County,Nanchang City from four major dimensions.Firstly,to broaden the funding channels for care services for the disabled elderly.Secondly,to develop diversified care services for the elderly with disabilities.Then,accelerate the improvement of the care service model for the disabled elderly.Finally,to establish a new system of intelligent care services for the elderly with disabilities. |
