Research On Risk Management Of G Bank Data Cente

The data center gathers massive data resources and provides efficient computing power services to support the rapid economic and social development.Modern commercial banks are highly dependent on data centers.Commercial banks operate and manage the most important assets--data in data centers.However,data center risk has become the only important risk that could completely paralyze the banking business in an instant.According to statistics,many domestic and foreign commercial banks have occurred a number of incidents caused by data center risks.Therefore,it is of great practical significance and forward-looking value to strengthen the research on the risk management of the data centers of commercial banks and to explore and solve the prominent problems facing the risk management of the data centers of the banking industry at present.This paper takes the data center of G Bank Co.,LTD.,a state-owned controlled investment company,as the research object to study and solve the prominent problems existing in the risk management of the data center of G Bank.First of all,the author consulted a large number of domestic and foreign literature to understand the research status of risk management in data centers at home and abroad,laying a foundation for the research of this paper.Secondly,the risk classification of G Bank data center is made,the risk characteristics of G Bank data center are identified,and the measures taken by G Bank in risk management are reviewed.Then,the G Bank data center risk is assessed from a qualitative and quantitative perspective.Through analysis and research,the author believes that there are many prominent problems in the risk management of the data center of G Bank,and the main reasons include the following five aspects: first,the risk management objectives of the data center is vague;second,the risk management framework of the data center is not established;third,the risk management effect of the data center of G Bank is not closely related to the performance assessment of employees;fourth,G Bank does not pay enough attention to the risk of the data center;fifth,the coverage of operation and maintenance tools.According to the problems found,the author further analyzes the reasons and proposes five specific measures to improve the risk management of G Bank data center: the first is to formulate a clear risk management goal of data center;the second is to establish and popularize the risk management framework of G Bank data center;the third is to associate the risk management effect with the performance assessment of cadres and staff;the fourth is to improve the effective communication and sharing mechanism of data center risks;the fifth is to strengthen the research,development and application of operation and maintenance tools.At the same time,in order to ensure that the improvement measures of risk management in G Bank data center can achieve the expected results,the author believes that the smooth implementation of the improvement measures should be guaranteed from four aspects: human resources,capital investment,institutional system and risk culture.Finally,the author formed the research conclusion,and looked forward to the next research direction of the paper.The research results and process of this paper will also provide some reference for the data center risk management of other similar state-owned commercial banks.
