| The issue of increasing peasants’ income is the key point in solving the problem of three rural areas. As agriculture begins to shift to modernization and large-scale development, the current level of agricultural modernization of small-scale farmers is low,and small-scale farmers must solve the problems of insufficient labor resources and low technical level in the production and prevention links, and how to increase farmers’ agricultural income has become the key to promoting the transformation of small-scale farmers.Outsourcing of pest control has always been the focus and difficulty in agricultural production, and the high cost and technical difficulty of pest control will have a certain impact on farmers’ agricultural income.Through pest control outsourcing services,it can help farmers optimize the allocation of production resources, reduce production and control costs, promote the progress of agricultural technology, and provide a guarantee for farmers to increase income.Taking rice farmers in Longyan City,Fujian Province as the research object, this paper uses 360 effective farmer samples collected from field research to first describe and analyze the impact of rice farmers’ outsourcing, income and the difference in the selection of different control types, and then uses ordinary least squares method(OLS)and fractional regression model(QR)to empirically analyze the impact of outsourcing pest control services on rice farmers’ agricultural income. The differences in the impact of pest control services on agricultural income of farmers at different income levels were further explored. The results show that: first,in the survey,it is found that 60.83% of the farmers chose the outsourcing service of pest control in rice production and control, and most of the surveyed farmers preferred to choose the outsourcing service of pest control.Second, the different individual and resource endowments of farmers will affect the choice of pest control outsourcing services, such as rice farmers with middle-aged age, higher education level, low and medium farming experience, small and medium-sized planting area, and medium and low level of land fragmentation.Third, rice farmers’ choice of pest control outsourcing services can have a significant positive impact on their agricultural income.Fourth, the impact of pest control services on agricultural income of farmers at different income levels is different, and the outsourcing of pest control services has a stronger effect on the agricultural income of low-and middle-income rice farmers, while the increase in agricultural income of high-income rice farmers is not obvious. In order to better promote and popularize outsourcing services for pest control and increase the agricultural income of rice farmers, this study puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from three aspects: First, popularize and promote outsourcing services for pest control and reduce the cost of prevention and control for farmers;Second, cultivate professionals in unified prevention and control to help increase farmers’ income;Third, increase the intensity of prevention and control subsidy policies to promote green agricultural production. |
