Research On Business Development Strategy Of B Securities Company

In recent years,China’s securities industry has developed rapidly,and the strength of securities companies has been continuously enhanced.However,there are still many problems in the securities industry as a whole.Along with our economy entering a stage of transformation and upgrading,the supervisory authorities through the reform of industry rules and policies have provided opportunities for the development of the securities industry and pointed out directions for the development of securities companies’ business.As the only local securities company in T city,B securities company has strong regional advantages and is a typical local state-owned securities company.Since its establishment,the company has gradually developed and improved its overall strength above the average level in the industry.However,in recent years,there have also been some bottlenecks and problems in the development,such as much dependence on brokerage and proprietary business,which leads to the imbalance of income structure,and weak investment banking and asset management.What should B securities company do to explore and expand new growth points,and reduce business risks is a difficult problem that must be faced and overcome at present.This paper takes B securities company as a research case,compares the development status of domestic securities industry and sorting out the status quo of various businesses of the company,to find the problems existing in the business development of the company,it has found the direction for the business development of B securities company.The competitiveness of specific businesses is analyzed by BCG matrix,and internal strengths and weaknesses,external opportunities and threats of B securities company are sorted out by SWOT analysis,thus obtaining the business development strategy suitable for B securities company.This paper argues that the brokerage business of B securities company should promote the development of fund investment business and margin trading business;Self-operated business should pay attention to diversified investment,allocation strategies and active development of OTC derivative business;Asset management business should expand the scale of active management and enhance coordination with other businesses;Investment banking should focus on the local area of T city and actively expand green bonds.At the same time,the business development of B securities company should not only start from the business itself,but also further improve the overall risk management ability,promote the construction of talent team,and increase the investment in information technology so as to continuously empower the business transformation and development.It is hoped that this study can help B securities company find the right direction and solve current business problems,so as to obtain better operating benefits,and fulfill its mission as a local state-owned securities company.At the same time,it is expected that the research of this paper can provide valuable reference for the research of business development strategy of similar securities companies in China.
