| As the global population grows and economies develop,so does the demand for food.According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations(FAO),the global population will reach 9.7 billion by 2050,with a corresponding 70 per cent increase in food demand.At the same time,climate change,water and land constraints and food waste all pose challenges to food production.Increasing the potential for food production is therefore critical to ensuring global food supply.As an important grain producing region in China,the northeast region has a total grain output of 288.9 billion catties,accounting for 21.2 percent of the country’s total output,a total increase of 15.3 billion catties and a contribution rate of 57.2 percent to the country’s grain production,making it a ballast stone for ensuring the country’s food security.In the domestic grain just needs to keep growing,arable land resources are very tight,foreign grain market is affected by a number of factors fluctuate greatly.How to ensure steady production growth? Adhering to agricultural science and technology to stand on its own two feet and speeding up the acquisition of key core agricultural technologies is the only way forward.Therefore,in the perspective of "hiding grain in technology",this paper explores the grain production potential in northeast china and analyzes its influencing factors,so as to put forward relevant suggestions.Based on the analysis of the mechanism of grain production potential under the angle of "hiding grain in technology",this paper uses entropy to estimate the grain production potential in northeast china and constructs regression model to analyze the main factors affecting the grain production potential in northeast china.Firstly,through the analysis of the grain production situation in the northeast region,it is concluded that although the total grain yield,grain sowing area and grain unit area in the northeast region all show an upward trend,the supporting services in the grain production process still need to be perfected.Secondly,by analyzing the forming mechanism of grain production potential under "hiding grain in technology",we can get the joint effect of science and technology and labor technology in the formation of grain production potential.Then the index system for evaluating grain production potential was constructed and measured by entropy method.The grain production potential in the Northeast region showed an upward trend between 2003 and 2021,with a starting score of 18.67 and increasing to 33.36 in 2021.Then,by constructing the regression model,it is concluded that railway operating mileage,fertilizer application amount,total power of agricultural machinery,rural human capital,electricity consumption of rural population and grain retail price index all have positive influence on grain production potential.Finally,the author puts forward some relevant policy suggestions to improve the grain production potential in Northeast China from the aspects of promoting agricultural scientific and technological progress,accelerating the pace of grain modernization and further improving agricultural infrastructure construction. |
