Research On The Evolution And Influencing Factors Of Agricultural Industrial Structure In Ordos City

In 2022,the per capita GDP of Ordos ranked first in the country,and the total economic output also ranked first in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.The abundant resources have promoted the rapid development of Ordos’ s economy.On March 13,2023,Ordos City held a work promotion meeting with the theme of "two industries driving one industry".The meeting emphasized that the development of the primary industry cannot be ignored at present,and a development model of industry feeding back agriculture should be constructed.The transformation of agricultural structure is an important perspective for examining social systems.In order to effectively promote the development of the primary industry,it is necessary to have a comprehensive and clear understanding of the agricultural structure in the Ordos region.Based on this purpose,this article studies the evolution and influencing factors of the agricultural industrial structure in Ordos since 1952,and grasps the evolution laws of the agricultural industrial structure in the Ordos region,And summarize and reflect on the underlying mechanisms,which is of great significance for further optimizing the agricultural structure in the Ordos region.The main content of this article includes:(1)Research on the Pattern of the Evolution of Agricultural Industrial Structure in Ordos from 1952 to 2021.Firstly,based on a comparative analysis of the agricultural industrial structure with China and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,the overall characteristics of the evolution of the agricultural industrial structure in the Ordos region are summarized,and the phased characteristics exhibited in different periods are summarized;Then organize and analyze the evolution process of various departments within the agricultural structure,and finally evaluate the rationality of the agricultural industrial structure in the Ordos region using the efficiency of agricultural resource input and output from 1952 to 2021.(2)According to the evolution process of agricultural industrial results in Ordos,the factors influencing the evolution of agricultural industrial structure are summarized as follows: the level of economic and social development,agricultural resource endowment,agricultural production and operation conditions,market demand,agricultural policies and systems,etc.,and empirical research on the influencing factors is carried out using the econometric economic model.(3)Draw conclusions and propose countermeasures and suggestions for the study of the agricultural industrial structure in the Ordos region.The main conclusions drawn in this article are as follows:(1)From 1952 to 2021,the agricultural industrial structure of Ordos developed in a diversified direction,with an overall evolution characteristic of first fast,then slow,and gradually flattening.In terms of time,it is mainly divided into four stages: the development stage from 1952 to 1978,the industrial exploration stage from 1979 to 1993,the steady development stage from 1994 to 2008,and the structural optimization and adjustment optimization stage from 2009 to 2021.(2)From 1952 to 2021,the industrial structure of the agricultural sector in Ordos underwent active evolution and changes,with the overall structure of the planting industry showing a trend of "leaving grain".The internal development of the planting industry tends to be diversified and there is still room for further development.The structure of animal husbandry fluctuated significantly before 2000,due to the implementation of a series of policies to protect the ecological environment such as banning grazing and resting grazing in the Ordos region in 2000,which had a certain impact on the development of animal husbandry in the area.The proportion of pig farming products output within the animal husbandry industry has decreased,while the proportion of products such as cattle,sheep,and poultry has shown an upward trend,showing a development trend of "stabilizing sheep and increasing cattle".In recent years,although the development of animal husbandry in the Ordos region has achieved significant results,there are still certain structural contradictions,and the competitiveness and added value of animal products need to be improved.After the reform and opening up,forestry has developed rapidly,achieving significant results in desertification control and the development of the forest and sand industry.At the same time,it also faces development challenges such as immature industrial chains and low economic added value.(3)There is a certain degree of redundancy in the total power of agricultural machinery,grassland area,and forest land investment in Ordos from 1952 to 2021.The reasons can be summarized as follows: the degree and scale of agricultural mechanization need to be improved,and the management and utilization of grassland,forest land and other resources are not yet mature.The rationality of the agricultural industrial structure in Ordos City was not ideal in the early stages of the reform and opening up.With the release of productivity after the reform and opening up,as well as the high emphasis on(4)agricultural priority and green development in Ordos City,the agricultural industrial structure of the city has been continuously tending towards rationalization.However,in recent years,the rationality of the development of the agricultural industrial structure in the region has not been stable.In the next step of agricultural industry development strategy adjustment,We should strengthen the construction of agricultural infrastructure,improve the grassland management system,and improve the utilization efficiency of forestry resources.(5)Indicators such as per capita GDP,urbanization rate,non agricultural GDP,agricultural labor force,arable land area,agricultural support expenditure,residents’ food consumption,and residents’ meat consumption have a significant impact on the evolution of the agricultural industrial structure in Ordos,while industrialization rate,effective irrigation area,and total agricultural machinery have a relatively small impact on the evolution of the agricultural industrial structure,The impact of agricultural support expenditure and residents’ food consumption on the evolution of the agricultural industrial structure in Ordos City has a "lag".(6)The countermeasures and suggestions for the adjustment of agricultural industrial structure in Ordos city are: vigorously developing characteristic varieties in sandy areas to diversify the planting structure;Extend the industrial chain and improve the resource utilization rate of the forest sand industry;Emphasize ecology,protect the source,and fully leverage the brand advantages of animal products.
