As one of the most important capabilities in the manufacturing chain of an enterprise,the degree of digital innovation of lean production has an important role in the development of the enterprise,and the development of the enterprise directly affects the network location of the enterprise.However,scholars have not defined the concept of digital lean manufacturing,and there is a lack of empirical studies on whether digital lean manufacturing has an impact on the leap in the network location of an enterprise.In this paper,we choose the relationship between digital lean production and network location jump as the basis of our research,and combine qualitative analysis and empirical research to develop the content structure of digital lean production and construct a theoretical model of the impact of digital lean production on network location jump.First,this study constructs and validates a structural model of digital lean production.This study uses a combination of theoretical derivation and interviews to construct a conceptual model of digital lean production and elaborate on the unique connotations of digital lean production.At the same time,the initial scale of digital lean production is formed by synthesizing the results of qualitative research and established foreign scales.Secondly,this study validates the four-dimensional model of digital lean production from the perspective of empirical research,which provides the basis for subsequent theoretical and empirical analysis.Finally,this study constructs a model of the effect of digital lean production on the network location jump of the enterprise,and explores in depth the intrinsic relationship between digital lean production and the network location jump of the enterprise,as well as the role of the dual mediation mechanism of knowledge power and knowledge field activity in it.This paper finds that all sub-dimensions of digital lean production can positively enhance the network location of an enterprise.Knowledge power and knowledge field activity play a mediating role in the relationship between digital lean production and network location leap,i.e.,digital lean production can influence the leap in network location by affecting the knowledge power and knowledge field activity of an enterprise.This finding reveals the intrinsic mechanism of digital lean production on network location leap,which can effectively broaden the theoretical scope of digital lean production and network location leap and facilitate the localization of digital lean production and enterprise network location research.As a result,firms can use digital lean production to facilitate inter-firm cooperation in their daily business activities,thus promoting network location leap.
